Please confirm if u only paid 10 K initially ? So far even I have not received the letter of being shifted from K to D. As far as I see ppl who had paid the initial installment and received offer letters for kol have not received the delhi offer letter. How about Trail Blazer ,Pallavi & Pawan? Any further updates from you guys.

Well i paid the total amount for first tri sem.... almost confirming totally to join any centre......

made it to delhi
but i didnt receive any email ....i was told that i'll receive my offer letter in a couple of days...
@ people who did make it to D from K and did get that email...did u pay the fee for joining K (1lakh somethinh) or just 10k to keep ur name in the D waitlist??
i hope to get the letter soon...only then i'm gonna resign

i too got a mail from gulati sir to confirm if i would like to move to delhi given the option based on my merit from kol centre....

Finally i replied....and now its confirmed i guess.... IIFT DELHI....

Do i need to call up Gaurav Gulati also or just the mail is ok....

Finally my much awaited wish got gratified....

And now i have been informed that i have got a confirmed seat in Delhi...as my name was in kolkata list....

Guys call up (kolkata students) and get excited just like me after hearing this gr8 news.....

Or General against any category prioritized

or the reserved prioritized!!!!!!

THE SEATS LEFT VACANT BY CATEGORY STUDENTS WILL BE FILLED BY CATEGORY STUDENTS ONLY,she specefically said that.
Hence i think there will be different waitlist for category students

Can Anyone plz find that out of the total 207 students called at IIFT, Delhi what is the exact no for general, obc and others and finally out of 169 what would be the exact no. in different category that they would be taking.

This would help us in finding after how many students r we exactly going to move up from kol to delhi....as a buffer of 38 students is still bringing the confusion of exactly how many general category buffer.

Now that i have called many times at office i request anyone to find and update with this information that would help us in making a clearer picture ourselves.

My merit no is 7. Still dont know if i will be able to get the Delhi Campus or not as the year previous to last year only till merit no 4 could move from kol to delhi... ..

Hi Everyone,

i recieved the call letter for kolkata taday. We need to send a demand draft of 1,68,250 drawn in favour of iift, payable at New Delhi so as to reach iift delhi campus by 27th april.

It also clearly mentions that in case any vacency arises in delhi centre , it will be communicated to the candidates offered admission in kolkata center based on the rank in the merit list.

@students not intrested in kolkata center -only wish to join if its delhi center...will be informed after 27th april.
BUT for that advance payment of 10,000 through DD need to be sent by 27th april.it will be refunded in case there is no confirmed seat.

@kolkata students - for hostel acco.double occupency basis

42,000 (rent per annum) need to be paid at the time of joining for first year....


Guys y is this rent so high in Kolkata as compared to delhi hostel acco.(only 21k for triple and 32k for double occupency)
