I think you should retry GMAT ....ISB has a 700+ average GMAt and the average is higher for IT which has the toughest competition

ps this is just my own thoughts , I am also an application just like you ...so you should take a second reference

I scored a 590 on GMAT.
But still I am shamefully asking, is it worth giving it a try.

My Profile is of an avg IT guy.
5 years exp, working with IBM, SAP Consultant.
Have been in client facing roles all these years as team lead and team member.

Last date for submitting the GMAT score was 31 Aug though.

Thanks you so much for the reply; it is quite encouraging.
Just for your further info, I have 4 years exp with Satyam Computers and only 1 year exp with IBM; currently with IBM. (hope that does not deteriorate the prospects)
Something unique about my profile is that all projects have been either at client location or direct client facing. So its like consulting profile as well as actually technical work.

Again I have another question, when it comes to saying first class in 4 years degree, I have have a big confusion.
First Class in BE in Mumbai University terms means 60+ in Final year. I have achieved that with 63% in Final year and I have passing certificate mentioning "Pass BE with First Class"

But cumulative 4 years % is 59.16, while individual year wise each is not first class.

So in what sense one need first class in a 4 years degree?

I am looking forward to apply to Schulich. But I am scared of my GMAT score of 590
Just let me know if my profile worth even giving a try with GMAT 590

How are people are getting admissions even before the dead line ..

I am confused about the start date of the course. Has the admissions for 2011 closed?
As per my understanding application happens in July and Interviews in Aug. When will the course start in Jan?

BE Comp: 60 %
12th: 74 %
10th: 68%

Work Exp: Currently working with IBM. Have onsite exp of 8 months in Qatar. Working as SAP Consultant and have managed big clients like Qatar Petroleum and Swizz Bank. Have implemented SAP ERP with domestic clients like Glenmark and Mazagone Docks (Public secotr). Managed a Team of 3-5 for other support projects. Have Published Technical and non- technical blogs on SAP community site.

Extracurricular activities : (To be honest) There is nothing significant, but I am sure I can make up for it.
At school level won inter-school Art competition. Have won inter college coding competitions. Have conducted work shops for IEEE during Engg.
