And what is the conversion rate we are expected use, is it the rate prevailing on the day we apply?

Hi,

I just had a query regarding the study permit applications. In the Application for Study Permit how much are we showing for "The cost of my studies will be:".

1. I know the tution will have to be shown as 80K CAD.

2. How about "Room and board" and "Others". Queens has given a living expense of 30,730 CAD. Are we going to split this between those two or does it really matter?

3. Regarding the "Funds available for my stay", is everyone going to show a tution fee of 80K plus the entire living expense estimate of 30K as provided by Queens OR going with the minimum expected by the Canadian VISA office (tution fee of 80K plus living expense of 10K).

I have few queries about something we discussed in yesterday's call: -

1. The affidavit which we need to get, if someone else is financing our studies -

a. Do we have a template?

b. Do we need to get it notarized?

2. Someone mentioned that we need to have funds in our bank account atleast a month before applying for VISA. First of all I need to thank that person as I was not aware of it and would have got into trouble. So now I will go ahead and arrange it by end of this week which would mean that I can apply only by Feb begining. Hopefully the period isn't any longer.

Honestly I was not aware of that and was waiting till the last moment to sell some of my shares ;). So a big thankyou to that person. Hope the period is not any longer than that. Already if I arrange all the funds this week, I have to wait till begining of Feb to apply.
