Hi,
Please answer my query ----

I sent a mail to admissions2012@tapmi.edu.in in the following format with attached copies of CAT scorecard, XAT scorecard and TAPMI application form on 5th Feb but haven't received any acknowledgement. Anything pending from my side?

Also in the application form i filled the "To Date" as 2012 instead of "Till Present Date". Do i need to fix this somewhere?

Having done my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication, I have developed a knowledge about the technical subject. I have been studying theoretical subjects that mattered less in life, even in a technical. MBA gives me a practical picture of how an organisation works.


I want to pursue MBA, as it would help me to understand the know-hows of a business organisation with specific details of its various entities. In todays global and dynamic work culture, MBA along with my engineering degree will definitely help me to realize my potential to the fullest in order to achieve my goals in life.


Through my responsibilities as the Joint Secretary for IEEE student branch of my college and handling many all India events like Business plan, Delhi School Summit and many others at the IEEE student branch annual festival, I have greatly enhanced my leadership qualities and most importantly team work skills.


During my tenure of more than 1 year with Ericsson I have worked with people from different parts of the country and abroad. I have greatly enhanced my professional and interpersonal skills working in a team and learnt to deliver upon a responsibility in a limited time. For the same reason I was chosen for an onsite opportunity during first six months of my employment for a project launched for the first time in PAN India.


I think globalisation demand MBA where the true value of a person doesnt count only with how much he knows but also on how he applies that knowledge in order to achieve new heights in life. Its like knowing the rules of a game is not sufficient, one has to master it first and then apply new ideas to bring his mastery to a whole new level. For the same one needs proper guidance which can be effectively gained in this reputed institute.


NMIMS being located in the financial capital of the country will provide me with excellent platform to learn industry-student interface. According to me, it is an excellent place where I can learn to adapt my domain knowledge for corporate growth, a place where students from different backgrounds-whether freshers or experienced, from different domains and subject fields come under one roof for a process called learning which according to me is the most important and never ending process in life.

According to the Lady who answered :- There is no such information from admission dept whether candidates with Nagpur / Hyderabad calls having higher XAT percentile would receive a separate call for IMT G or not. She just suggested me not to miss any Interview right now.

It appeared like she was flooded with this query and she had a standard answer that no such intimation is there from admission dept.

My personal opinion :- It would be wise enough to attend the Interview, but seriously not interested in Nagpur/Hyderabad. Left admission in Nagpur 2 years back.

Sailing on the same boat. Got a call for IMT Nagpur/Hyderabad Campus with a CAT percentile of 74.59 but have 97.14 percentile in XAT.

Do i need to attend the interview? Will i get a call again for Ghaziabad Campus on the basis of XAT score.
