But first confirm to me along with ur budget beforehand b'coz it will be costly to purchase it in Mumbai due to taxes.

i am interested in buying a laptop for sure....n preferably an ibm ...the budget is like 45-50k....

u guys all have forgotten me ...i am the one who started the thread....de ........ do also share the discussions in delhi in the forum wat hav u all planned about accomodation in m'bai....?.....it seems dat u all discuss abt the laptop only...hey guys thats not a big deal.....when u all r coming to m'bai....?

Relax girls/guys ....... there is still lots of time for this accomodation thing .... as I hv said earlier, I wld start hunting places for myself and for u people too from the end of this month. Hopefully Apuarv and Manoj wld join me ... dont worry, I know enuf people down in Ghatkopar area to help me out. Divya ... hopefully u can join us too to get a lady perspective as well.

Regarding laptops .... ur approach shud be to

1. Zero down on a list of 3-4 models of different brands and prioritise them. Technical help can be sought from me if required.
   
   
2. Then find out the prices of each model (single and bulk purchase) from ur preferred vendor in delhi or in whichever city u r. Remember...include taxes, VAT, octroi, etc.....
   
3. Send me the list of those models and I wld find prices in mumbai .... then u can compare and decide.
   
4. Another thing .... Mumbai has octroi and maharashtra has VAT ... so prices wld go up a little. But if delivery is taken somewhere outside mumbai ... like Vashi ... octroi can be saved.

this flat and laptop drama is really taking a toll on my lil brain ....since divya is going a bit early so prolly one concern can be dealt with for the time being but wat abt the laptop scene...all the delhi ppl...whoever wants to buy one jst drop in a msg or sumthing so that a bulk kinda purchase can be made n also ur preferences ...like im willing to buy an ibm thingy...

n ya u guys in mumbai...y dont u also put in a lil effort towards helping us poor girls here find an accomodation....:)
