I think shcol is for women who have done their schooling from non A-Grade cities, so they need to verify the 10th class certi... dont think its a gender bias... thats what I understood from the schol details available, could be wrong...
No I did not. Did not think it was necessary If the guys here are getting evaluated based on 12th and UG certificates, girls should be too Hardcore feminist at heart
On a more serious note: If the 10th certificate is absolutely necessary, it appears in the PDF. Meaning, ISB adcom does have access to it. So, it's cool :)

hey searching4mba, I had the same doubt, so called up the adcom, the lady confirmed that just showing the score report at time of interview is enough... though it would be good if you can call and verify too...

I agree with your view point that much more transparency/communication would leave a better impression of the school. However, if I see from the point of ADCOM, they would be busy with so many applications and their processes that they don't have time for other things. Adcom has given the date as 15th Sept, so its worth waiting till then so as to have a better clarity. Also, it was mentioned during the interviews that from this time onwards, rolling admission process will be followed.
Another point, most of the B-Schools (including IIMs) are not transparent in their admission process and they are far behind the admission process as compared to the International B-Schools. It will take time for Indian B-School to raise their bars.
Seniors may help you out to answer your queries as they would have gone through the same process last year.
Thanks, Sudhanshu
