dell/hp/ibm but still cant quite figure it out.....

from what ive seen ibm thinkpads r really sturdy n rugged......
m a bit clumsy...so i guess i need these qualities for sure.....

would i get it in 50k price range...... if yes plz specify the model nos.....

honestly the wait is getting a bit too long.....

have heard some puys saying we should wait for 1 more week....but guys...the colleges are all about to start.....
the worst thing would be geting the call on the 25 26th when we would be through our first week.....

n i know im repeating but...... 180 seats and 19 w/l.....its amazing....hats off to the institute.... i bet the iim's wont be able to beat that in the next quarter of a century, maybe even longer......

Guys , i called up IMNU today asking about the waitlist movement
The waitlist movement as mentioned earlier stalls at 19 currently
And regarding the Increase in number of seats .. he said the number of seats has been increased
So when i mentioned my Waitlist number : 69 , he said the chances are remote
unable to understand it , i asked him to clear my doubt to which he said.. Calls for 180 people were given

its quite strange.....
theres still debate on the seat increase....so how could they possible have known for sure. and if they had given 180 calls then there should have been no doubt on the seat increase.....

also if they had given buffer calls......60 buffer calls would be a bit too much....its not matching up in any way.......
seems so stange......
n besides from what i can gather frm pg quite a few have not taken admission n many have withdrawn.....so no way can only 19 w/l be cleared....

w/l no 173......my no seems a long way off.....
but puys with only wl 13 getting cleared its a bit strange
cause if there were just 13 vacancies after the first list they would have never called for the next 100 people....thats seems absurd....

that means atleast 40 seats + should have been there....
now that the seats have increased by 50% that means
120 people out of say 200 get with no increase(best case)120+ 80 w/l
60 seats should ideally have another 100 w/l 81-180 or so

dont know if ive missed something .....but from what i can see it seems to be preety much ok......

which one should i go for......
