The GD PI marks barring few(Jhon_Galt and Mission_JBIMS) would be more or less the same so on average it wont change much this year.


This year expected cutoff = 184 + 3(since this year 99.99 is 159) = 187

To be on safer side assume cutoff to be 189 (Because as stated by I'llBack in previous posts there are atleast 3-4 candidates who do not post their scores on PG) and make your decisions accordingly.

So all the candidates above 189 score, rest assured about making it into JB.

Hope this should clarify doubts abt the expected cutoffs for many of you.

Let me know if there is any other aspect which would change the expected cutoff.

I have been admitted to MDI Gurgaon PGPM in the first list and am really speculating whether I wud get thru to JBIMS.Can anyone help me out please as MDI is commencing on 16 June and am leaving on 13th and also deadline for withdrawal of admission is 13,so I have to decide in the next 2 days.Please someone help me out

i have a confusion which i believe many puys have....and i dont think it has been answered with sufficient clarity......so please pour your thjoughts on this one.....


i am a mumbai univ candidate......expecting about 175-180, which means i have a slim chance for JB....

so the problem is tht if i take sydenham in the first round AND if seats in JB remain vacant in CAP 2, can i take admission there? the problem here is that DTE brochure tells us that once i have confirmed admission in CAP 1 (first 5 preferences), i am not eligible for CAP 2!!!! which also means that if i have confirmed admission with sydenham, i am no longer eligible for JB....


any factual replies would be greatly appreciated.....

hey nirav..From what i understodd by the eng in DTE brouchure, it implies that if u get admission in ny college from teh 1st five options, u will not be eligible for the nxr round. ( It is immaterial whether u confrim the admission or not). So if u want to stay in hunt for JB, it is better not to put 2nd option in 1st round.( but again it depends, if u are ready to take tht risk...)
....suggst if u have some better stratergy..( actaully me too in the same soup, mumbai uni student expecting 175).

Wass up,
Me shocked with 2 lacs hike in fees and that too just a link on website. I must say that intially they could not declare results online but they could very well post a link with revised fee structure.

I dont know what to do but to SHOUT.
I dont think ROI in imt is worth to pay 8 lacs and that too with just a short notice. I have already taken loan from PNB bank. anyways now lets see what new IMT does with its placements. they have a huge task of placing 375 students. God help us
