Tool for calculating your final score
70% of marks given to nmat score. This can be calculated by
70*your marks/360
For example say for score of 250,
70*250/360= 48.61
10 marks weightage to our academics. This can be calculated by
( 10th+12th+graduation)%/30
For example say my percentages are
(80+70+60)/30= 7 out of 10
Remaining 20 marks is distributed as 15 for GDPI and 5 for work ex....
Cut off - 64 +
Nayi Problem.... is hisab se to w/o work ex kisi ka nahi hoga...
Dude, i dont think the second part of your calculation is that simple.
first part and ..48.61 from 250 is ok.
but we were told in the pre GDPI talk ..that work ex which has 10 marks attributed to it will be calculated on two multiplicative counters .
quantity wise ..5..further broken down to 0 1 2 3 4 5..based on the no of months of experience you have.
quality wise ..2..further broken down to ..0.5 1 1.5 2..based on how much they feel you know about the domain in which you work.
and it was also told that below 11 months of experience..will get a 0 .
I have 32 months ..and i can expect around 2-3 in this count ..but i donno ..if they have felt that i donno anything in my domain ..i may get a 0 or 0.5 in the quality wise break up.
The professor who said this ..last line he said ..was.."If we found that in spite of having 50 months of experience , you donno anything more than a furniture can know , you will definitely get a zero"
..also same type of multiplicative logic is applicable for acads as well.
first part quantity of marks..
second part ..how much you know ..quality wise..
but i donno ..if a guy who has a 50 month work ex in IT and belongs to Mechanical Engg..its quite obvious that he or she will not be able to provide solid answers frm core mechanical fundas anyway..so how will they calculate in this front ..no idea.
Work ex thing is ..i am quite confident coz what i said.. actually came from the professor of NM ...
Lets Hope for The best..
