Anyone has any idea about the closest bank to the college coz I wanna start an account of the same bank back in my home town.

Is there any hotel close by so that we could stay there for a day incase we reach there a day or two early ?

Well most of the banks are nearby............but I wud suggest you to either go for an ICICI or HDFC bank account because of comfort....
You can speak to BIMTECH regarding stay for your a day or two in the campus or GN Hostel........they will make arrangements since you are a student of bimtech......

it seems that each one of us is busy in just mud slinging and libeling each other. let's get out of this and enjoy the coming days ahead.For those who cldn't make it be assured u have sme thng beter than this and those who hve made just chillax. JAcob, could u please tell me wen will the classes begin and do we have some time on sundays so that u can do smthng else other than studying.

Classes as per the latest updates will begin @ 1st june......
I juss hope you have time 2 njoy those sundays apart from finding time 2 sleep n relax......
btw its not necessary that you will have an off day on sunday....it cab be any day of the week

Hi Mr. Motu................. I hv got admission in PGDM and hv filled d fee i.e. Rs. 1,59,000............. nw as other results r out and I hv been selected for other institutes(fore,lbs) too...................I'm confused a lot............... I'm nt sure of making it to BIMTECH due to unprofessional attitude employed by it......

1) They don't pick the call........... if at all they do so, they keep it aside and will not reply(I wasted a lot of bucks doing this)......... and in case they reply (i.e. 1/100), the person replying don't hv proper know-how, low communication skills, no manners.............and will say all the information hv been displayed on website.

2)Whenever u email them, they hv a same reply(i.e. they mention d course provided and fee structure).......I mailed them several times regarding refundability of fee, date of announcement of result, etc .........got d same reply everytime......

3)Regarding the refundability of fee they hv mentioned diffrently in prospectus and on website as compared to offer letter.

4)The result was declared on 11 night and most of the candidates were nt able to access the result via phone or email or website till 14.

5)Now d latest twist in the story is about waitlisted candidates.

Sorry if I sounded rude or impolite bt these r facts and it hurts badly.......... it also distort the brand image of the institution............

I hv certain questions in my mind?????

1) If I decide to opt out .......... where I need to make request for cancellation of admission???...........How much time it would take to get the fee refunded after requesting???????.......will the procedure be smooth or torturing????:splat:

2) If I opt out ......... will d vacanted seat be alloted to next guy in the waiting list on basis of merit or it would be filled by management quota???? :

Well to the fact that there has been unprofessionalism showcased at BIMTECH this year... well I can personally explain that in case of excess demand management system....At times of admissions there are so many people calling plus there is juss one counsellor to handle all queries...juss imagine so many applied and have so many queries.... regarding the fee refund stuff I have confirmed that the fees will be refunded....Regarding website issue....even IIM's has it when they upload the cat results I was able 2 see it on the 3rd day...so its technical stuff we cant blame bimtech 4 that.....
-for rude beavior I have given u the reason excess demand and low capacity to manage the services....
And with regards to waitlist....there is no twist or anything its all genuine...I have told u the reason behind the same....
Yes if you give up your seat....then it will given on merit to waitlisted and candidates...
And remember one thing Education these days is a business and not even the top institute in India are ethical enuf...I personally know a student who paid thru his nose... gota jack from some minister and now is in one of the top institute...
And regarding other bschools specially FORE and LBS( no comments... you better find out)
Finally its your decision....

I had been to the admissions office today....
the explanation which i got from the admissions officer goes lke this-
We had expected a 40% conversion rate on the admissions offered....so we have given final offers for say PGDM to the top 120+some more students(he dint specify the some more) and then have prepared the waitlist....In case out of the some more that have been given final offer dont turn up then waitlisted candidates were called; he mentioned last year it happened that in PGDM 4 seats were left waitlisted students got a chance...however even in the last year as i have confirmed from my batch mates there is no student who got an offer thru waitlist in PGDM(IB)....so similar was the case.....
Now the worst part of the entire situation is that there shud be more transparency....I have already spoken to the director about the same....hope he does sumthin abt it...

same here,sourav.even i was waitlisted 4 pgdm ,nd wen i calld them up.they said no seats are vacant.......it might be due to the fact .....as no other colloge in nd arnd delhi except imi has taken out their list..so for the precautionary basis ...every1 wuld hav paid the fees.......its just my speculation.......but i guess it is the nly reason,if watever they r saying is true.......lets hope that sum seats r left vacant........

I am really sorry for BIMTECH's unprofessional behavior....it had neva happened with the current and previous batches....probably now it has better recognition thats y its behaving like this....

If you are not interested in BIMTECH at least do not provide puys with the wrong info......avrg sal is not 4 and over.....but over by 1.5 lacs.....and is growing at a greater pace every year.....in comparison to other bschools...... n as i hv mentioned before- its a value proposition not juss "inflated salaries".......

hi jacob, Thanx for the splendid show of patience and devotion to answer all our queries. it has been beckoning us all thru. Now again a questn for you what all documents do we need for getting loan on behalf of insti. i have the offer letter but is anything else needed. Also is it possible to stay outside or hostel is compuslory.what kind of facility do we have if u don't mind telling it. do we need to have migration certificate at the time of admission. I have already sent the dd of the 1st amount they have asked for. besides that i have also faxed the same to them.is anything else needed that i shall do

You have to stay in the bimtech hostel...I hv no info abt documents required to avail loan..kinldy call the office i guess u require a letter frm bimtech.....abt facilities i hv alrdy told b4 kindly refer....no nuffin else has 2 b dun....bt still buzz the admissions office and confirm....
