Seniors, will be great if you can answer my following queries:

1. when will the applications for IIM RAK be invited?
2. have you guys (first batch) been provided internships?
3. Internships / placements will be in India / RAK / Dubai?
4. what was the cut-off last year? how many students were called for interview process? how many were selected? what was the minimum percentile for which a candidate was finally selected?
5. any preference to work-ex?
6. the hostel is on the campus premises itself? or outside?
7. what's the living expenditure there?
8. any cultural issues at RAK?


only these questions for the time being... :P

is it necessary to mention "adversity in life"...
i havent faced one :(

we should rather be happy that we have not faced any adversity in life. however, we are sad because we can't fill anything under this head in SPJ form.. haha.. we are in the same boat bro .. not faced any adversity.. touchwood...

we are like ranbeer kapoor of rockstar.. he wanted to get pain to become an artist.. we need adversity to get into SPJ.. LOL....

I want to see the details filled during registration phase i.e. admission form. Can anybody tell how can we check the data already filled?

Also I feel academic and work experience details are already submitted..why are they asking these details again?

when you submitted the details during the registration process, you must have got an email from admissions2012@spjimr.org with all your details submitted. Subject of the mail was 'Registration Details submitted by you.,

Secondly, in the column for 'Year' under 'Latest Job', are we required to mention the year in which we joined the organization or current year 2012 (as I'm still continuing with the job)?

can we write 5 random statements in each of the text box given.. i mean one from academics, one from work ex, one from family background..... i mean statements not forming a coherent paragraph...??
