I have 18 months of experience will I be treated as a fresher in the placements? :shocked:

Entirely depends on your previous work experience & its relevance to profile you will be getting.

Example - If you have IT work experience and you are getting into core finance , your experience will be similar to what a fresher has.

i have 2 questions

1. how sould we answer estimation questions.. like .. using which parameters would u estimate the no. of second hand cars sold in the a particular city...and the likes...questions like these have caught me off guard on 2 crucial situations and i missed out working in Google because of this ;(
i am a fresher and m nt an engineer...
pls tell me a way to handle and answer these questions correctly..


2.what should we say when the interviewer says.. "Do you have any questions for us?" i am always at a loss of words at this n i end up sayin...no questions sir...with a smile... :(

I am not sure about your 1st question so I wont answer that.

Second question is generally asked - Example you are sitting for a B-school Interview and same is asked. You can question them about College course / Infra / maybe ask them about electives / if they have tie up with any school for exchange programs - This might lead to a general discussion and you can also read about the same on college website. It will show that you are interested in their college and have done background work aswell. (Never Ask about your performance in the interview)

Can any senior comment on the following points.
1. Average / Median / High / Low - Placements
2. Placements at PGDM Finance - I have heard only Marketing profiles get good offers.
3. Profiles offered to Finance pass outs.
Is the college worth spending 12-13 Lacs for Finance role? I am aware its one of the best marketing institute in India. My questions are for PGDM Finance.

None of the NIT's other then trichy are worth it, and IMI is only open for people above 90 percentile
