1) what are my chances ? My rank is 309 in all NC-OBC candidates....

Anyone applying for 2nd RTI? I had called admissions office yesterday to ask about the movement in 2nd list. They told me "hum aapko nhi bata sakte". This is really disappointing. Atleast they can tell the movement. People having RTI replies. Please share. It will help others. Also if seniors...

Just got the reply to my RTI.
My Essay/GD/PI final score = 54.79
NC-OBC merit rank = 292
Any chances of convert in subsequent lists??? Any input is welcome!

Rejected.. Since the time i started preparing for CAT this was the biggest dream i had.. Quite shattered to know that it will always be a dream thruout my life.. anyways i believe in destiny.. I never expected to get 99.69 in CAT but i got.. Maybe GOD has some better plans for me.. And all those who have converted, CONGRATSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! This will be the day u will remember all thruout ur life more than ur birthday or your day of marriage.. And remember to make it BIG in life with the opportunity u have got now because only a few among the lakhs who write CAT get this chance of studying in IIM-A.. And ppl like me who have got rejected, eventhough we have not made it to THE BEST B-School in India, lets make it BIGGGG in Life.. cheers

steelyResolve @karthikcit : yes u must be feeling crest fallen after getting so close but remember never let such things overpower you. You got immense capability and a reject in one damn interview is no measure of it. Keep striving, as you said, "god has something better in store". cheerz!

him_monu Frn! I could relate to what u went through. I had a similar dream of IIM-A (the day I started prep, I had this Louis Kahn Plaza image as my desktop wallpaper). A "reject" after a decent interview at IIMA was too big for me to digest (even an IIM-B convert seemed small and worthless), but then this it's life, full of surprise and you have to accept the truth and move on what you have got. Hats off to your attitude man and u will definitely make something big one day. ATB for life, which is much much bigger than CAT

Quantohelp I was rejected by "A" twice. And how much ever I deny to admit it now, but back then, the joy of converting both "B" and "C" was kind of not enough to cover up for the sorrow of not making it to THE "A". True, there is no difference among A, B and C on any front, yet the pecking order starts with A; reason: it is the sublime image and brand equity of "A" that pulls people towards itself.

So do I regret today of not making it to "A"? Not really. I found my "someone special" at "B". Today, I thank God for NOT offering me a seat at A

Bottomline: Something better is in store for you. Wait for your turn!

hello puys... I hav my IIM I interview on 1st May and this happens to be my last interview.. Since i have screwed all my other interviews , this is my last opportunity to get into an older IIM.. So guys, i need some tips so that i could convert atleast this one..!!
Help me..!!
