I think you applied in the second round last year. I have also applied in the 2nd round this year, can you tell me till what time I can expect the interview invitation, if any, and admissions decision? What about scholarship details? I have deposit to be paid for another school early april, and I hope I get the admissions decision and scholarship information from kelley before that.

I t was the first round and not the second round , the results came by Jan end. As for scholarships , you will get them when they send you the acceptance packet .

I dont know about that , but I can tell you that the results last year for international students for R1 came out on Jan 31 - some people who got admits before that were domestic students

I too submitted my app before 14 Nov. Not heard from the university yet :sad:. Mailed them last week, first got an automated out of office reply; two days later, got a reply telling its in process.

Kelley mostly will not roll out admissions , they will be released some time in Feb 1st and 2nd weeks. ( at least that is what happened last time )

For one INSEAD normally looks for more experienced people so that way your application will hold good. Also I am sure you have an intresting story to tell regarding your career growth which will be unlike normal indians working in IT , so that also makes your application stronger.

Just remember it is not what you are but how you portray yourself in your essays which count on getting accepted.

-i am 33 years old. Graduated from Computer and Electrical Engineering last December 2007.
- I have worked and studied at the same time, that is why my graduation took this long.
I wish to get an MBA at INSEAD or IE- Madrid.

Could my history be harmful for my admission process?
My last job was as a National Technical Director, where every aspect of the department was under my "wing".

not sure abt that..i think you are talking abt part time MBA here..i am talking abt full time MBA. As long as you are on H1B you have to be sponsored by some one ;)

I am not talking about part time MBA ( for part time mba you can study on H1B ) . For full time MBA you have to convert your VISA to F1 , but after your MBA when you reapply for H1 with your new company you will be put under the same quota which allocated your H1 the last time and you will not come under the lottery system .

: I am going to do a full time MBA ( with F1 ) , I got my H1 converted to F1 and it is then that the immigration lawyer told me this. Bu please confirm it from someone.

I will be pursuing my MBA this fall and I did have a H1B on me ( worked in US 2 yrs ). As per my knowledge you can continue on the same H1B once you complete your MBA and thus will not fall under the lottery scanner anymore . This was told to me by a US based immigration lawyer , but still needs to be confirmed ..
