Make the right choice of school in case of multiple admits, which will be different for different people. Talk to people, contact them personally. Forums are hardly a place to make important decisions. Eventually, there is little that can go wrong in such decision making
Congratulations, all call getters! Don't get bothered by the short notice. There is nothing much to prepare really except for knowing yourself well. So, do that and be confident. All the best, Max
No my friend. Even I thought it was the way you think it is. Unfortunately, it is not. you can ask anyone from IIMC and he will tell you that number of seats for this year PGP are fixed and repeaters also fill up the same seats. Effectively, more the number of repeaters, less vacancies for fresh intake.
And, this is why I posted it here-
Man, the person you are quoting is a 2nd year student from IIMC.
Its tough but not impossible. I have seen several people do it. Try and talk to amitnsitian at PG. He is a current student at IIMC and joined after completing his first year at FMS.
hey people . . . . A big congo to all of u who have made it to IIMA . .Awesome... I have not . . . CAT score was 92.81, instead, converted Nirma, Ahmedabad. But reading this thread, gives inspiration to again give a shot at CAT 09. I have a query, i am planning to join Nirma, but wud be again giving CAT whilst stdying, i have 24 months exp in L&T.; Can anyone please tell me, is it possible to convert the interviews with this kind of exp (work and MBA), is there a student on campus who has left some B school to join IIM?? I know its a bit weird, but this post is about profiles, so thot of asking it out...?????

According to the admission letter, maths test is not a requirement to be fulfilled for the PGP course. Its just an exemption exam for the course on QM course, which you need to take in case you fail.
1. You guessed it right...:p No need to fill the form in that case. 2. Yes, it will be refunded as mentioned in one of my previous posts. 3. Come to the campus first. We can deal with it then. 4. Maths test is a qualifying test compulsory for all PGP students from this year. You have to pass in this test to be in the institute (yes, its that important). Most of the students pass it in their first attempt. For the rest, they are allowed to take it again at a later point in time of their program.
