hi frnz!! i m in a big dilemma.....plz help me. I graduated in business economics frm DU last yr. I had calls frm few gd insti's like SIIB, NARSI MONJEE N MFC (DU), but coudn't convert my intv calls. I m planning to appear fr MBA entrances again dis yr n wud like to knw wot kinda exp wud b more relevant. I m presently workin as a CSA wid WNS (one of d best BPO'S in India), but i m nt sure whether dis exp will count or nt, n even if yes then in which all insti's. Although my area of interest is finance i hav nt been able to get a job in a KPO. I hav an option of workin in dis big BPO company or workin wid a comparatively smaller organisation in d financial industry( as a terminal operator), where i'll b able to learn more regarding my area of interest but its value won't b much in terms of weightage fr B-schools. So, i wanna knw which option is better ??

hi frnz, i had my intv yesterday at 10:15. Reached a bit late n missed GD in my batch but luckily was told to give GD in 11:30 batch. Our topic was " IS INDIAN YOUTH DIVERTING TOWARDS INDICIPLINE N FALSEHOOD." The GD was good, post ppl gt d chance to speak.
Then came the interview after a wait of abt 3hrs. There were 5 interviewers. I was asked abt d present scenario of Indian economy n then was asked to give suggestions regarding d budget. I was also asked some questions on finance and some on economy. As i m a business economics garduate they also asked me if i was interested in MBE. Overall d interview was good.

hey amit, me too in d same dilemma. my NMIMS result will b out on 10th march n hav my MFC'S (DELHI UNIVERSITY) intv on 16th march. n SIIB guys wud deduct a min of 25%amt once we deposit d payment. just prayin fr d best.

My GD has the topic was about ethical degradation .I appeared in Delhi.... 12:30 batch.


One thing noticeable was that for few of the guys they were conducting two interviews.I was one among them.Just after my regular PI was over ,the interviewer handed over my bunch of documents to me and said i am supposed to meet another chap.I went there .He told me that i should relax and this is not an interview.He wanted to take feedback from some randomly picked guys.Still he asked few questions to me like...

(1) Why MBA
(2)My designation
(3)My score in NMAT
(4)My score in CAT
(5)My long term goal
(6)How will MBA help in fulfilling this goal.
(7)What should NM do to improve it-i replied CBT was just a repetition

this ran for almost 5-10 mins.

2 from my GD batch had double interviews.Similarly from other groups.

Was this similar for other centers also.?

hi Amit, can ya tell wo was ur rank in Nmat n do ya hav any exp. coz i hav heard frm one of my frnd, who had a gd rank n 2 yr wrk exp tht fr her also 2 intvs were taken so it is quite possible tht ppl like u r most prob to b selected .

hi seniors, can any1 tell me if MFC ppl give too much stress on academic scores n wrk exp ??
