It was there in CV guidelines doc at MDI site i think kisi senior ne daala hain ye doc.

Following thing has been mentioned On a separate note, every student is required to fill the spreadsheet, the link to which is given below, and submit the same by 8 PM on 19th June, 2011.

are there was a google form for all the joinees to be filled by 19th does any one have link for the same can't find it.

Well now IIM-I also have a WL movement by 90 and K will come by a list tomorrow, so let's see what we have from MDI in next week.

Generally freshers don't get joining bonus and why are you worrying just join the company and before 13th you will certainly know whether MDI rank will move till your rank or not. Just join in case you make it then leave the company either by asking your HR or just leave it without telling any one as you are still a fresher but in that case your company might black list you and you won't be able to join it again.

Do we need to be in business suit at the time of induction, and what is dress code at the start of the course?
Some one told me it should be formal clothes and plain shirts that too, could any one please elaborate.

I think all this confusion and waiting and pain is because of this concept of buffer calls..
I wish all the colleges would learn now and remove this concept.

For all the students : if u r going to be a part of adcom committee please do ask them to consider this point.

Well buffer call is not a random thing it is generally given on basis of past record at institute. Well even last year buffer was given and it was easily cleared, so hoping that they did the same this year with 450 calls for PGPM only, how can they expect that so many people will take in the admission.

There has been no WL movement in C in gen cat till now.Even in ABL the movement has been very little.
This time I,K are not having much impact on MDI,NITIE WL movement coz of difference in selection criteria.
In NITIE no buffer calls were made.Still after 2 WL movements only 84 ppl have cleared.That means movement has been till merit rank of 219 only.
Taking this into account it is not surprising that MDI is not releasing WL especially since buffer calls were given.

Then you can say that with current change in criteria people are not taking risk earlier people used to leave good institutes just for IIMs and now with so much change in criteria every year you just can't take risk hoping that you will make it next time. What happens when some other criteria is added next year and as you know soon 10th exam will also be obsolete as CBSE has stopped giving percentage for 10th so what may happen next no one can tell, better safe than sorry.
I think some one who is from Gurgaon can go and confirm in person from MDI people that what is the status of next waitlist release, probably then we can get a truthful response from them.
