I am not quiet sure about HR, but for finance the lowest package was 5.5.
See here confusion is about profiles, their are many IT companies offering finance profiles like risk management, hedging etc, which offered package of 5.5

And their is core finance profiles in stock broking firms like equity research, equity analyst etc, in this profile lowest package was 7.

what are the facilities at hostel for regular PGDM students? are the rooms air conditioned? and is ther laundry as well?
and someone plz tell me the LOWEST package for freshers regular PGDM in FINANCE

No rooms are not air-conditioned,
but their are a few laundry shops at few meters distance from hostel so that wont be a problem.

Well highest package for a someone with a fresher or with less then 12 months was 9.5
In placements a person with less then 12 months experience is almost a fresher.

can you please tell me .. what other activities you experience apart from studies at IFMR? Also, why LIBA, KJ Soumaiya, GIM you dint opt for?
Also, I got through for PGDM FE, but 75k i cant manage in this short span of time. We live in a village and its difficult for us to be in regular touch with banks.They give us time and we revisit them. I am trying to get loan for the fees. I desperately require a week extension to get that.
Please help.

hey buddy.
Not opting for other colleges was my personal decision, i cant say that any one college is better then others, personally i wanted to write CFA and make my career in finance, so i opted for IFMR.
About extension for a week, please call up the admission office, I think they would definitely be ready to help you out with this, so just explain your problem to them and they would try to sort it out.

Hii buddy u told about PGDM regular. What about PGDM FE??

No. of seats : 30
No. of calls : 45
My Waitlist : 6
So actual waitlist no. : 21 for 30 seats. (51th rank)

As i told you their was no list put up last year, we just got mails of our selection or wait-list, so i cant tell much about wait-list movement of FE and DSF.
But personally speaking, these courses have gained more recognition now and as IFMR has seen improvement in placements, i would expect a bit less movement in their lists as the seats are limited(30) compared to General.

For students curious about wait list movement, as far as I know
In 2008 the wait list moved till 55-60 something
In 2009 the wait list moved till 50-55 something
and in our time that is 2010, my waitlist was 31 and i got call, and I am not sure about final no. but surely waitlist moved above 40

Now about giving 100 calls for 60 seats, this is done by every B-School
For IFMR last year, no. of calls were not disclosed but still i am quiet sure that more then 60 calls were given for general.
So just keep your fingers crossed
