i have low score in my acads
ssc : 65.5
hsc : 58.8
have recently done GNIIT and pursuing Bsc IT final sem through distant learning...
i have this long desire to crack cat and get admission in top 15 or 20 colleges but
i read other thread which shows that the students got above 99.4 percentile in cat and above 80% in all i.e acads and grad... but diidn't even got a call from any iims so could anybody pls elaborate it bit more
that if i score good percentile like 99.5 or above than what are chances there for me.....?
and what if i gain experience in IT industry of say 2 or 3 years and than give entrance than what are the chances after that..?

i'll be giving cat for the very first time this year i have started my preparation with the cl material
i have heard that iims give huge importance to the academic background ,
mine isn't that good will it affect my chances from getting an iim call
my acads are:-
10th board - 83.4 % (CBSE)
12th board - 79.6 % (CBSE)
Graduation - 57.5 % (B.E Electrical)(I messed up big time here)
i belong to SC category

MY FRIEND U CAN check different iims criterias (cat 2010) here and will come to know everything
