Dear @matty0906 . You cannot apply to SIIB now as the registrations have already been closed. Wishing you all the best for all other calls you have.

Dear Aspirants

I understand and appreciate the anxiety you all have regarding the percentiles in SNAP and expected number of calls given this year, but I would request you to hold on all those queries for next 1 week as the situation would only be clear on 18th January when SIIB declare its GE/PI List.

Even I am as curious as you people are regarding cut-off percentile and eagerly looking forward to it. However till then you are free to shoot any other query regarding SIIB, we would be pleased to resolve it.

VODAFONE CAMPUS BUDDIES

With the cornucopia of events in the Leadership Series 2012, there was an additional fun filled event – ‘Vodafone Campus Buddies’ . The event was organised with Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM in association with Vodafone. The event started off with vivacious games where different teams were chosen to play fun games. This was directly sent on air by the Youth RJ Gavin Philip of Radio Mirchi. This gave an enthusiastic start to the event. All the participants for Mr and Miss College soon poured into the auditorium ready to show-case their talent.

The students came up with their flairs in the most innovative of ways. All the dance, singing, mimicry set the stage for the day. The students not only performed individually but they also participated spontaneously in the ‘Jugalbandis’ and provided entertainment for one and all. The audience cheered their heart out making the event more exciting. The RJ distributed gifts to some of the great performers.

But the program had to end with only one winner from the girls and one from boys. Ms Atika Jain, Ist Year(MBA-AB) , was chosen as Ms College and Mr Sankar R.A, 2^nd Year(MBA-E&E;), was chosen as Mr College, bringing the amusing evening to an end. The winners will now represent the college in The Grand Finale of Inter College Competition across the top 40 colleges of Pune City where all the winners of different colleges will compete with each other. The winners of the finale would be given Blackberry Phones as prizes.

What a Day it was !! I am loving it !!

Dear Meghna

Academic performance do form a part of overall score in the Final Merit list for selection to SIIB, but it is not the only criteria of selection. First you have to clear the cut-off for SIIB in SNAP exam to get shortlisted for next round. Once shortlisted, you will have to appear through various selection process like GD/PI/Essay Writing etc. after which a Final Merit list based on your cumulative performance will be out.

So, I would suggets you to first prepare for SNAP, do well there and score high so that your good SNAP score offsets your Academics and do not worry about academics as you cannot do anything about them now.

You are not allowed to join SIIB if you do no clear your Backlogs. So make sure you clear them too. Wish you all the best for your prepration.
PS: Even My academics are really poor, but still i managed to convert most of the B-Schools I applied to. So Relax and Prepare well !!

I got the confirmation mail on 5th June, but would not be able to join on 11th June. At best I can try to join by 18th June. I do not have my migration certificate with me at present. Is it necessary to deposit migration certificate on the date of joining or I can deposit it after another 10-12 days.

Heartiest Congratulations on making it to SIIB. Just inform Admissions Office that you would be joining late by E-mail and over phone that you would be joining late. As far as Migration certificate is concerned you can submit it within 10-12 days after you join but make sure you do not delay it further as you may not be allowed to sit in 1st Sem exams if you do not submit it/submit it vary late.

I got the confirmation mail on 4th june.
I have accepted offer from SIIb.
As I have already joine SIBM-B I am at Bangalore now.I have sent mail to both clgs for transfer of my fees from SIBM-B to SIIB.
And programme at sIIb is already started.So,I think that I sholud reach SIIB as soon as possible.So,when is siib going to give me hostel facilities?I need it by 7th june.

First of all Congratulations for making it to SIIB. I think you should not wait for your fee to get transferred and then shift to SIIB as the process will take some time. I would advice you to talk to Admissions Office at 020 - 229343 14 / 17 / 18 / 19. Forward them the mail that you got about the confirmation of transfer of Fee from SIBM-B at admissions@siib.ac.in. I am sure they will consider it and give you a date from when you can join. Try insisting if you can join on 7th as on 8th there is an Outbound trip which Iam sure you would not like to miss !!

I got a mail today afternoon asking me to "Kindly confirm whether you wish to take admission in SIIB " although I have replied to that mail positively , I did not receive any confirmation or an offer letter.

Nobody answers the admissions office phone either..

I badly need a confirmation as I will then have to negotiate my notice period with my company..

Need help on this :(

Today maybe due to registration process phone lines must be busy. You reply back to admissions@siib.ac.in stating your acceptance. And try contacting them tomorrow on phone as well. They will send u all the details regarding fees and course structure.
