Yes, the PaGaL Election Commission is back with the most awesome and insane national event! Before I move forward, let me tell you that this event allows you to bring out the best creative person inside you, the marketeer err the cunning part of you in the form of campaigner, the diplomat in you through the coalitions required to be formed coupled with the test of networking skills.

Remember before you post here that you need to carry forward a legacy of excellent creativity, outstanding humor , downright shamelessness during negotiation for votes and political acumen!

Here goes the esteemed panel of judges :

Seeing the standards the contest has set in past, you need to be at your 150% when it comes to creativity and humor to impress the panelists. And it has to be coupled with strong campaigning but not a repetitive or a mediocre one.

The Process

1. All those who think they possess a cool avatar, nominate yourself by posting on this thread. You need to convince the judges why your avatar is coolest

2. If you want, you can change your current avatar, finalize it and nominate only after that. Don't change the avatar after nomination.

3. The judges will then shortlist 10 finalists based on creativity,humor and whackiness of the campaigning, and PG being a democratic place, we will open the contest for public voting. Do remember, it is only the finalists for whom the Puy Junta will be voting for, but for the nomination stage, you gotta convince the innocent judges.

4. The winner of the poll is the winner of the Coolest Avatar 2013.

Please note that every nomination should be as a seperate reply. Nominations made as comments to existing posts will not be considered.

You may use comments for campaigning!

To start off with, here are few rules -

1. You cannot change your avatar once declared here. If you wish to change, do it now.

2. No plagiarized avatars, try to be original. If two users have same avatar, ONLY the one with an earlier date of joining PG shall be considered.

3. Explain the theme behind your avatar.

4. Work on your Content Delivery/Canvassing Style for the avatar.

5. Having nominated once, the contestant might assume his/her political role and start campaigning. There are ethical ways and there (un)ethical ways to promote yourself like PM's, phone calls, SMS, scraps, messengers, You should refrain from the latter route else we might cancel the avatar's nomination.

6. You are free to form parties and alliances in the 2nd round. So, apart from individual winner of the Coolest Avatar contest we can have a 'Coolest Avatar Party' as well which gets max number of votes in the end.

7. Shortlisting by the judges of 10 finalists will be based on avatar, Humor, Content Delivery/Canvassing Style and X factor! Each judge will choose his set of 10 finalists and we will give one point for each selection. The top 10 will be found from the cumulative score given by all the judges.

May 4th, Saturday, 2 PM - Nominations stop.

May 4th, Saturday, 5 PM - Campaign for nominations stop and thread locked.

May 5th, Sunday, 10 PM - List of final 10 Nominees will be announced and voting will start.

Do remember the judges and CECs may decide to change the rules of the game at any point of the time if they find event is lacking creativity, rivalry and awesomeness expected from junta out here.

BABA_Pencho @abhimanyu_ - The nomination post has been made. No other post you make here after this, will be taken as your nomination for the event. There is no cap on the number of posts (THAT MEANS YOU CAN MAKE AS MANY POSTS YOU WANT) you make on this thread, as long as they are not spams
Go berserk! Campaign, come up with teasers, or whatever you feel can grab the eyeballs of the judges and the pagal junta out here. (HELLO, IS ANYBODY LISTENING?)

So far we have been disappointed with the number of good nominations and the lack of creativity from the contestants in general, and that might make us sit uptight and change a few rules (MAYBE)
But all of it can change. You all can change with your awesomeness and creativity :gm:

Remember the judges are a bunch of lazy people. They will not comment or respond until the contest is either too good or too bad. Most of the judges have already shown their views and they have been a little to the negative side. Compel them to come ALIVE, skip a beat seeing your creativity and Comment, Like, Campaign for your avatar! "KUCHH AISA KARKE DIKHA, KHUD KHUSH HO JAYE KHUDA!" :mg:
