Hi,

I would like to know as to what was the least written score and percentile of an oms student selected in JB last year. I know as a matter of fact that the cut-off was 187.

Hey guys i am an open candidate from nagpur university. i scored 129/200 99.64 ptile and my par+work ex is 2/6. my gdpi went really quite well. do i stand a chance for JBIMS? Also is there an in campus hostel or just mumbai university hostel for students? pls help me.

At 99.64 I don't see any chance. Keep your hands folded and 'pray' as it is difficult to predict what would happen this year with cut-offs going low.

Though it is too early to ask this question let me answer it for you. MU hostel is available for all OMS and OHU candidates. There is no separate campus hostel.

I have a specific query..
Compared to IIM faculty (Mostly all Ph.Ds.),
What do u think about JBIMS faculty ? I mean, Having faculty from Industry have its pros and cons .. !!

Can u elaborate in detail ? I mean, what are the advantages or maybe sort of disadvantages of not having full time faculty ?
We think very highly of our faculty and consider ourselves extremely lucky to learn with them.

Does students get faculty's attention besides classroom lectures ?
Students interact with them during and after classes and since most of them are alumni, they take special interest in all activities in the college.

Are there projects floated by faculties at JB which can be undertaken by students to have hands-on exposure to practical management (as is the case with IIMs )?

I have some questions that I have listed below :

1. What were the profiles offered by the BFSI companies and Investment Banks at JBIMS ? Are these profiles same as IIMs (not ABC, but LIK )?

2. Which companies came for General Management Profiles at JB this year ? What exactly 'General Management Profiles' that we are talking about here ?

I am pretty much confused about the fact that how can companies can offer general management profiles to the people with specializations.

3. For the international placements, what are the locations ?
( Acc to JBIMS Official Website, Companies such as BTS, Oliver Wyman, P&G;, Bloomberg, Jumbo Electronics offered international profiles. )

Please Clarify the doubts !! Any info is Welcome for the beginners like us who dont understand ABC of placements:lookround: !

This is my first post on pagalguy....i have scored a 99.82%ile in cet with 135 marks...i have a PAR of 4/4 with 1 mark for work ex...i am going to give my best shot at the GDPI coz JB is where i reallyyyyyy want to be...i just want to know what is the last rank that is admitted into JB for HU Open candiaites...also, how many seats are avaliable in this category

I had posted this earlier also. Doors closed @ 99.94%le last year for HU students.
HU open has 38 seats.

Why are your course contents for MMS not mentioned on your website? The tentative subjects every semeter and the specializations offered by JB...

Unfortunately, you may not make it to JB with this score. No of HU open (GOPENH as it is called) seats is 38.
