Di : 10
English : 28 CL & Time , 38 IMS

So i m getting around 72 to 82 in total.....

my guess is eng: arnd 95+ percentile
Maths : arnd 90 + percentile
DI : 40-50 percentile

Academic record : 10th : 69.6 %
12th : 69.2 %
B.E : 59.4 %

Work ex : 3 yrs. +.....still working

I have applied Nirma and LBS only. Now planning to fill welingkar and kirloskar and kj somaiya.

Please suggest on base of ur experience....if i will get a call or not from any of these...

my scores: DI 12.66.....Eng. 15.66 .... Quant....just 1 (hehe):neutral: .....did it in one hour with quant sec...but totally messed up with it...hey guys i m not getting my percentiles in SIS page....so plz put scores with percentiles in this thread... I think i m getting 29.33 so somewhere around 76-78%...but still post scores.....

hope everybody is enjoying his/her prep for Cat-06 and ready for takeoff as a no. of mocks are also rushing in ur way.

my quest. is little different or out of box. Can we generalize the no. of marks in actual CAT paper (not just mocks/sims/aimcat/tamecat......hehe) to get atleast one iim call irrespective of workex/fresher...good/poor acads or something like that...like in

CAT-03: cutoff for atleast one iim call is : 58+ (or even less in some cases)
CAT-04:...............again almost same....: 54-55+
CAT-05:................much less than expected: 50+ for playing safe for iims (ofcourse with sectional cutoff cleared)

CAT-06: my guess is again bang on target: 50+....i know its too early to say anything but
my take is like u can not expect always a sixer for every ball u play in cricket. so its better to play safe rather being oversmart as everybody does try for heck of iims and landed on some 20+ scores.

so guys better to play safe.......

Well I am not an avid reader of books but i would like to be. I have just read two books: Made in Japan by akio morita, very motivational book...and simple though. second is Tao of physics by fritjof capra....now i am in confusion which book i should start.

can some one put the name of books that are inspirational but non fiction, some autobiographies of high profile people, some religion stuff and their authors as well. Well Can someone put the link URL for online books.

Now the cutoff for SITM is out. its 71 for system and finance, and 74+ for marketing and finance, what do u guys think about the cutoff going to be for SIOM's. I think it is going to be more than 70+ atleast.

As my score is 65.75 and work ex of 1.5 yrs. Do i have enough chance to get a call for gd/pi, I don't think so. I have not purchased the form yet....a bit confused....wants comments of SeeOm guys n gals....should i apply or not.

Well Thanks for writing that long note and make us feel better in taking decision of getting into SIOM. Please share ur gd/pi story that u have done finally before joining this very SIOM and made a remarkable improvement in ur overall personality in every field and that's what SIOM is for...

Is there a stressful scenario in gd/pi or we just need to be there with our all energy to get through. I m assuming that second stage is not going to be easy and we should not take it for granted as we need to justify every cause of doing MBA in OPERATIONS. So what all we need to do specifically...i mean is there anything extra or just current affairs through newspapers and magazines, self awareness would suffice and that's it.

My friend Who has told you that cutoff is 68+ or it should be 10 marks ahead of what it was last year. I think Nobody has disclosed it and be patient and wait for the result. There are other factors also like workex, extra curr., academics. and I need not to tell u this. Even scmhrd gives calls at lower cutoff considering other factors.

anyway, no pun intended absolutely, but just keep this thing in mind, junta is expecting a call even on 58-59 marks. So better not to spread rumour about cutoff's right now.
