My query is regarding PGDM V/s MMS. Many ppl say tht one of the reasons for choosing MMS over PGDM is tht if u want to opt for further studies like Phd then u need MMS as its a degree. So if u have a PGDM are we not allowed to pursue further education ?

Pros and cons are mentioned in the first 10 pages or so in this thread. However , pros and cons are depend on ones perceptions and may vary from person to person. For eg - if you are a Finance inclined person ,having second thoughts about marketing, then answering your query will be easier.

My dilemma is between HR and marketing. Now can u please help

After having gone through most of the pages on this thread and seeing the importance of HR i just wanted to ask if someone can tell me in brief about the pros and cons of HR as a career.

Nothing as such... just go through this thread to know what marketing is all about and see if it excites you and is in sync with your interests in long run.

If answer is yes, marketing it is for you else you can explore other avenues
