^ I'd agree, a wodehouse, in my opinion, is definitely one of the funniest books one may read. i read my first wodehouse about 5 months back, and realized i hadn't read a book from the comic genre in a while! the one that i read most recently is the mating season, and i have to say, though it takes getting used to, but even lines like, 'hallo, hallo, hallo!" and "yes, yes, yes, yes," and "i shot 10 inches up in the air on hearing the colonel's voice," get u to chuckle or maybe giggle a bit hysterically after a point.
hey anyone read any of ben okri's works?
im reading the famished road by this writer, and though Ive just begun it, i already came across a wonderful line:
"To be born is to come into the world weighed down with strange gifts of the soul, with enigmas and an inextinguishable sense of exile."
No ive not read the alchemist.
