As per the latest Master circular on CRR/SLR, (Reserve Bank of India) the penalties on both CRR/SLR are linked to Bank rate. Moreover, Bank rate was a tool for maintaining liquidity requirements prior to current LAF (repo and reverse repo) transactions. But it has been not used since 2001. ...
Exactly thats y i m not sure whether Bank rate is a penal rate!!!!!!! but as helpdesk has quoted it as a penal rate...i will have to check on that but 90% i m sure its not a penal rate for non maintainence of CRR/SLR
the penalties on both CRR/SLR are linked to Bank rate.
Moreover, Bank rate was a tool for maintaining liquidity requirements prior to current LAF (repo and reverse repo) transactions. But it has been not used since 2001. Before 2001, banks used to directly borrow money from RBI at Bank Rate. This is replaced by Repo rate system now.
Currently Bank rate serves no other purpose but penalties.
question for January 13, 2012. Any game other than cricket you like watching and following? :D
if you want to write a long post here, do mention to what extent you pursue or follow that game. e.g. a crazy soccer fan supporting ManU or some other club. :D
Loved to see the misery of English players when ball started turning square.... Take that!!! Paid back the principle......the interest will be paid back in T20 game

good start to ODI career by Varun Aaron. Hope he continues to just keep bowling fast deliveries....our team needs one bowler who can hit the wicket hard...
Good thing with advent of bowlers like umesh and varun is that they will be able to clean up the tail easily which India was unable to do so in recent times. And these guys will lead the attack overseas.
so once again it seems India will need to bat for less than 40 overs today
Edit-so 221 it is, well bowled aaron, picking up a wicket in each of his last 3 overs.

Check the account balance from where you have done the payment...if the account is debited then dnt wry, just talk to authorities on monday and confirm.
I have registered for NMAT and also completed payment and successfully booked my appointment. But I got an email from NMIMS stating that "Our records say you have registered for NMAT but not done payment, kindly finish it by 10th oct" ! There is something written over there that "If you have done payment ignore it". And one of my friend who registered with me didn't get same email. So I am bit worried. Why so ?
Telephone helpline will be available only on monday and that is the last day for payment.
Is there any other way to check payment is done or now ?
