Process for Cancellation of Admission.Written request for cancellation of confirmed admission, signed by the applicant, should be sent to the college (Admission Co-ordinator, K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Vidyanagar, Vidyavihar, Mumbai 400 077) along with a copy of the bank challan and/or fee receipt. If paid through easy pay, also mention details of the bank account in which refund is to be effected (Name, A/C No., IFSC Code, Bank, Branch, Savings/Current Account). Also drop a mail to pgdmadmission@somaiya.edu to this effect, for reference purpose. Written request is mandatory.

Update on the Waitlist Movement The waitlist numbers for each aspirant will be allocated at the end of counselling processes. As the seats are still vacant, the college may decide to conduct further counselling processes, at its discretion. As was already informed to you at the time of counselling, the waitlist movement will be based on the preference of course opted for. So, essentially, waitlist numbers can be alloted only after preferences are obtained from all the aspirants appearing during different counselling sessions, so that the aspirants with first preference for a course are listed before those giving second preference for the same course. Request you to understand the intricacies of the system and await further update on the same. We do understand your anxiety and are working closely to make it available at the earliest. Importantly, there has been no official cancellation of admission requests received at the college side and waitlist movement has definitely not yet begun.
