I am in urgent need of help.I have done my BE computers and afterwards worked in big MNC as a developer for 1.5 years after that i did MBA in systems and now i selected in another big MNC where they are going to train me on a functional module from list of modules available.

My condition is
Technical modules like BI,ABAP,Basis is not available as option to me.

SO it is pretty clear that as i did not did my MBA in main stream i have to learn something new.Problem is that i dont have knowledge of functional domains as to what will be better for me.

All i know is that i want to enter in some functional module which will have bright future and plus give me ample opportunities to work abroad.

so considering these both concerns what do u think will be best for me.I have already canceled out fico module and so from rest what will be best for me.?

pls guide me as i have to give my choice in comming days.?

I have completed BE in IT this year(waiting for results) and also gave MAH-CET MBA in which i got a fair score.


MY queries are :


1) I want to Pursue MBA in SYSTEMS but, the problem is, i don't like programming that much, i know C,C++ n java moderately. i don't know core programming.

So can u please tell, is coding compulsory after i complete my MBA systems.??

2) If yes, then leaving programming which other options are available..??


3) Can u tell your views about SAP..??

Plus remember Marketing guys are not given designing and consulting jobs....and ..they many times go to Pre-Sales one of the HOT divisions in IT field for those who like....dont confuse the things

I am myself pursuing Systems..Now there is whole dilemma abt system ki after that u will become IT manager..its nothing like that dont confuse

hard facts ..if u are a fresher then beware if u dont get thru campus..its hard death for u outsde..becos outside they ask join as coder..

one more MBA systems with less workex think that coding is like baddest thing ever....but rite now companies dont need BA,consultant with less workex..only thru campus thn it wll be ur luck

Now for experience..i mean 4+ they have red carpet in this situation..of market..their 4+ is very good workex letting them to get joined as Project Lead or Team lead wiz is very closed to PM..

Others System syllabus is not what will make u a IT manager..becos their are lots many thing req of IT manager and there is no subsitute for workex....u show them that u hv handled live projects in MNC and the rich packages are urs..

otherwise keep updating with latest certification and latest trends..

Most Imp try hitting companies thru campus..if u reject some company for a profile wiz u dont like then mite be outside u will be totally lost ....even worse than campus...

so Think rightly dont be in bright Illusions....:nono:

can u pls guide me as to what thing i shld do as a prerequisite for my entry in IT field ..some where in posts i read abt the certification can u pls help me out with it...
also one more thing pls clear me whether systems is the only thing that is required to enter in IT field or Even finance people can also take roles in IT industry..

Hi guys,
i took admission at pumba today was pretty quick process still i have some uncleared doubts .

1)The form which the lady gave me and told that we hv to fill admission form from publication department..and so how many guys have already done that process is it urgent to immediatly complete that also.

2)lady told me that u will get ur divisions..and prolly my division is C ...so how many of u know ur division.

3)Timings:-what are pumba timings and what time we are to be there on 24th

4)Dress code:- Is there unifrom ..or i heared just a drees code ..formals only.
pls rectify on that.

5)hostels:-i am localite still some funny notice was put as to all students of first year mba++ should fill hostel form with 2 xerox copies.


pls clarify on all these things

My friend is eligible for cap round 4 but due to some illness she mite not be able to attend the cap round 4 himself...so is it valid that some relative or her mom or dad can attend the cap round 4 on her behalf and take and confirm admission.pls rectify asap
