You want to work in Sales as in Sales and Trading in O&G; sector or is this some other sales you are talking about .... Most O&G; producers have a sizeable desk to hedge their production .. dealing in futures... so i don't think a MBA in O&G; is the way if you want to trade or sell derivatives for a O&G; company .... but if this is real product sales you are talking about then ignore my comment ..... for Sales and Trading in a O&G; company ... any relevent commodity desk exposure should be useful ... best wishes for you applications and job search

I want some help with regard to rules of starting a new mutual fund in India. I am seriously planning to start one and want to know the rules of starting one.

I have the rules of SEC in US and am imagining the rules are going to be comparable. Does anyone have any reference for the same or knows any point of contact.

Placements are going to get tough in US and UK and Europe as well ... but at the same time loads of opportunity in middle east and India and China and also in Russia .... so depends where you are looking at .... market dynamics are changing and maybe for the better ..... and this shakeup of the fin industry would remove the chaff from the grain and only the best will survive ..... interesting times ...

I live bang opposite the Lehman HQ in canary wharf in London ... today was a day of gloom in wharf...... it looked like the last day of college, people crying, hugging each other, exchanging emails ..... met up with some friends who worked at LB and all in all felt very sad myself ..... the whole building which was always lit up and had people in it working was empty and only a few floors lit up.. ironically the cleaners were cleaning the floors at 11 30 in night when I last passed it today ...... real sad day .... hope AIG doesnt go bust tomm ....

xbhp.com is considered a very good biking forum but their forum members attendence dropped a lot and the interaction between new ppl dropped drastically after they closed their shout box ....

SB is really helpful keeping puys connected .... now if i were to drop into mumbai in 2 days time.. i can easily ask ppl about where to go for something or any other info on SB in a much shorter time... than creating a useless thread for the same ... similarly getting stuck on a problem you need answers to or just debating something happens better on SB ..... just keeping threads will be boring and most ppl would refrain from being so proactive

I dont think it is the right decision .... maybe cutting down the number of pages you cache or smilies etc would probably bring down the bandwidth size or limiting the number of posts per minute per person .....
