Unfortunately for you, there is no increase in intake at NMIMS. The intake number has shot up because people have not withdrawn admissions this year.

As far as NMIMS is concerned, the admission process is over and the program has commenced.

the last day tio withdraw admission to be able to avail the refund is tomorrow or before 18th june?? dumb question mayb bt confusd..

Yes, that was the whole idea of separating HR from the Core. So that students inclined towards HR can focus for 2 years on HR.

So yes, one would not be able to specialise in HR if they join Core.

Can you plz confirm that If somebody is interested in taking a sabbatical from his company, then is it ok with the admission authorities and In that case experience certificate would not be available.

How many people of 2012 batch have taken a sabbatical?

College would be ok with. The issue would be between you and the company. If they make you sign a bond, then obviously you would not be eligible for Finals.

Don't have the exact details of students who have taken sabbatical in my batch.

I have converted HR..but i have read the confirmed application today only and the 3rd list was declared on 10th it seems.I have sent confirmation mail today and they have told 2 reply within 48 hrs..so will my application be considered???please help..can any1 share the total fee of hr programme???

Hi Svina, it want affect your chances of admission. But you need to pay and submit the documents within the stipulated duration.

The total fees would be available on the website. It's 5.16 for the 1st year, and about the same for the second. Kindly check on the website.

Hi Seniors,
What is the shortlist criteria during summer placement and final placement.
I know it will be different for different companies but you can just provide in %terms.
I want to know specifically during shortlisting how much focus is on 10th 12th grad college marks, work-ex and others activities.
Actually I have low score in acads will it cause problem during shortlisting.
I have been selected for CORE and I suppose companies will not be goin to interview 300 people. Is there is any written test also????
correct me if I am wrong and I hope i am not askin any confidential information..

Even if I tell you what criteria was followed during our Summers, it is bound to change or not change depending on the wishes of the HR.

Not having good acads can be a problem wrt some of the companies, but then, you can more than make it up with a good work-ex profile.
Even extra-curriculars can play a role.

It is no rocket-science. Job short-listing criteria remains the same kahi pe bhi jao.

And as far as ur problem of half boiled eggs, it is NOT AN OBLIGATION upon me to guide u to a better college....do ur research n find out urself. If u cant even do dat, better dont do an MBA...it wont change ur fortune

Didn't want to get into personal mudslinging with someone like you, but come on, you are talking about my college. It has given me enough in this 1 year itself.

I dunno who Anon4 is but all his/her posts seem pretty factual to me. Coz iv been thru this s**t inflicted by the so called top b-schools. Nothing personal against schools claiming tall stuff but y shud gullible students' careers be put at stake????
Students shud have all the right to complain in public forums.. but unfortunately, there are always those high authorities that firstly mess up ur life n then hold grudges against u for speaking against them. Wotever happened to freedom of speech?

Same way, none know who you are, cause you do not enough gumption to reveal your identity. Try your best to try and hide behind the guise that the authorities would be baying for your blood, but it holds little standing.

If you intend to give a fair idea about the Sectoral courses, you could have said at least some positives about the program and the placements.

But no, you choose to only malign, and nothing else. Remember, its you Alma Mater, and you have done nothing but to try and malign it's reputation. NM would be better off not to have such people who 'claim' to be its' students.

@ all : As far as placements or any other specific details are concerned, gargivaish, vishnu sharma and shanebond would be a better source to interact, cause you know their identities.

These nameless, faceless mask-bearers' veracity can by no means be confirmed, nor can they be validated.

Choice lies now on to the aspirants'.

Hi puys..
m in a dilemma right now, plz help

I contacted pnb for education loan for d fees amount. In the meantime I submitted the fees in NM (borrowed it). The college gave me a fee receipt and an acknowldgement card which show that the admission granted to me is provisional. Now PNB says that it can't grant me loan unless my admission is not confirmed. They say they will sanction the loan but won't reimburse the fees amount that i have paid to me till I furnish a document that states "The admission as confirmed". (which i don't think is gonna happen anytime before june)
What to do now, I m in a fix, have to repay the amount i borrowd in a few days. Plz guide me
