see....let the no of people getting apples be x and no of people getting oranges be y...
so 2x+3y=30 & x+y=no of students..
now x and y can take value as "0" also.
so..for no of students=12..(x=y=6)
for 14(x=12 & y=2)
for 15(x=15 & y=0)
no solutins for 13...hence 13....correct me if wrong!!

A naive question.

The grievances that one can file, are these only for discrepancy in WE and PAR marks or for something else also?
