great!! when did you receive your letter and r u in trivendrum? i have not received it yet!! the form looks like the one explained by admission guy.

either u wud get it from someone who has already received the offer letter or it would be uploaded on net. If you get from somebody else get the xerox copy of acceptance form. this is a blank form which u have to fill and send it back to admissions with the fee.

They have dispatched the offer letters. last date is 9th june. those who are not able to receive the offer letters have to fill the acceptance form and pay the fee.

GD/PI timing - 3rd march 2pm Mumbai. Panel - 2

We had to write an essay for 10min and then do the discussion on same topic for 15 mins. Essay sheet was collected immediately after 10 min.
GD and essay Topic - Politicians are wonderful people as long as they don't do things which they don't understand such as their way of living.
Group discussion was not very good as everyone was talking about whatever they knew about politics although irrelevant to the topic.
I was second one to speak and came in 5-6 times. It was a decent performance.

P1 - So, have you read Kuran ? (I am a muslim)
Me - yes sir!
P1- How many verses are there in Kuran?
Me - Don't Know sir. There are 30 chapters but don't know the exact count of verses.
P1- what's the meaning of Allah Ho Akbar?
Me - told him the meaning
P1 - what do you read in namaz after Allah ho akbar?
Me - told. But he wasn't convinced and kept asking the same thing for 3-4 times.
P2 - gave me a maths question related to matrix and told me to find out the determinant. It was a 2 rows 3 column matrix.
Me - Cant find the determinant, matrix has to have equal no. of rows and columns for that.
P2 - whats is determinant of matrix.
Me - tried a little but gave up finally and told I have forgotten the theory as its more than 6 years now.
P1 - Ranbaxy has some peculiar criterion for selecting their chairman. What is that?
Me - no idea.
P1 - Ok so you have been to US. Tell me what is HEC? Its very famous B school there.
Me - haven't heard sir.
P1 - ok tell some other 2 B schools in US
Me - Harvard and Wharton.
P1 - ok in UK?
Me - London Business School.
P1 - in Canada and France
Me- Don't know sir (Smilingly).

Me - told 7. He tried to confuse me by 6 but told him all 7 IITs.
P2 - Ok so you are an electronics engineer. Explain me Integrated Circuit.
Me- Explained Briefly. And while explaining I used the word Transistor.
P1 - Ok who invented Transistor?
Me - (laughing) sorry don't remember sir.
P1 - Have you heard about sintex Tanks?
Me - yes sir
P1 - which company manufactures sintex?
Me - isn't the company sintex itself?
P1- no its not sintex.
Me - sorry sir I haven't heard then
P1- Who is Warren buffet.
Me- 2nd richest person in the world, has earned all his money from stock market.
P1- recently he was in news. Tell me for what?
Me - He donated Billion dollars in Bill and Melinda gates foundation.
P1- there is some other reason of his being in news related to some merger, tell me that.
Me- sorry sir haven't heard that news.
P2 - what's your role in your job
Me - explained.
P2- Explain Client server architecture.
Me - Did in detail
P2 - what is Business Components?
Me - explained again.
P1 - there is a famous folk dance in Chhattisgarh (as my native place is chhattisgarh), tell me the name.
Me - I told about one famous CG folk dance which I know and its significance related to a particular festival, but he wasn't convinced again and was asking about some other name.
P2 - Explain BPR (Business process Reengineering).
Me - did somewhat.
P1- Ok you can leave and all the best!!!!
It went on for around 20min. There were lot of Dont knows and havent heards but that was there in others' interview too.
