Essay Topic: Society's responsibility towards senior citizens
we had to sign a attendance sheet circulated among candidates.
Then they collected the documents they had asked for from each of us.
Then addressed by President , Dean and a couple of professors(Prof.Nelanjan Program director for DSF course & Prof Ramprasath Co-director FE course) .Then Q&A; session.Then started off with essay.
30 mins duration for essay. we all completed by 10:20AM.
then time for refreshments.meanwhile , they started calling in first set of ppl for each of the interview panels. I guess there were totally 3 panels.
I was first one to be in Panel 2.
The panel consisted of the Dean and a senior professor. He s specialised in marketing . I couldn recollect his name correctly. don wanna giv a guess.
First question was to brief abt my background.
They both mostly talked in tamil and asked me to relax and stay cool.though i wasnt feeling nervous.
asked me why mba repeatedly in different wordings since they did not seemed to be convinced with my answer. Asked me abt my hobbies and passion. For most of the questions , the other sir (not the Dean) did not allow me to answer but he kept on talking... sort of lecture(not boring though).
they asked me wats my preference as i had applied for all 3. I told them. They said they ll consider mainly for pgdm n dsf. fe ll depend on my maths knowledge. so cant rely though. I kept insisting on my preference order. They tried to convince me for showing interest in dsf. I did not giv in.Lets see wat happens. meanwhile , as FE was my second preferred course after general mgmt , the Dean tried to may be send me to someother panel for maths ques. finally since he couldn find one , they told they ll consider me as per my pref.
I hav a feeling they gonna consider me for dsf oly.lets see.
