ok....so after being a silence reader for some time....its my time to contribute to this lively thread....
A Flashback on past 3 weeks at GIM (its not Gym, its GIM, Mind u !!!) : reached here on 18th june and tranquility of goa touched me almost instantly...roads here are of good quality and (more importantly) without much traffic( Thats a jaanat for a mumbaite !!!)...got the taste of culture @ GIM when i met our senior dinesh (or dinu bhaiya ) ...he and other seniors were pretty helpful and helped us to settle down here quite quickly...Had heard a lot about OT(Men's hostel) b4 coming here and belive me, its a place to be @ GIM...It seemed whole ribandar (whole panaji may be) knew abt no. of girls in our batch many days b4 we came here

i really cant forget that nearby shopkeeper's dialogue on the very second day of my stay here : " PGP1 ? U Have 55 gilrs in ur batch rt ? "....the reagular class sessions started after 3-4 days of orientation and it felt like : THE GAME IS ON !!!!!... one thing i realised very quickly was that time management is of utmost importance here ( in any B-School for that matter ) ....if u can manage ur time effectively... and can manage right mixture of fun and studies, life is set here !! soon, bunch of assignments and presentations started and i statred getting the feel of wht really group work is all about....
had a lovely mid summer nite where PGP1s exhibited their (exceptional) talents....fortunatly, i also got a chace to sing a faviourite kishore kuamr oldie at 2 :45 am

The really good thing was almost all seniors set throughout Mid summers patiently (without throwing eggs and tamatars )..then came the freshers party...it was real fun and most of us came back when new day had already begun( read 6 am )...
to sum up, its been a great experience till nw and i am sure next 2 yrs will add lots of value to me...avg sleeping hr of 4-5 hrs is vey common here and late night tea at jaggus ( not me, the shop owner's name is jaggu ) keep me awake..GIM ROCKS !!!!!!
