Congrats to all those who have converted. Waiting list movement trends from previous years

OC--till 45 in 2011, 40 in 2010
BC -- till 45 in 2011, around 42 in 2010
MBC -- in the 30s in both years
SC--in the 20s in both years


BC-Muslim quota was introduced this year according to TN govt norms.

Total fees for the 2 years comes to around 5.5 lakhs and is exclusive of mess bill and electricity bill which will be paid on a monthly basis after you join.

Initial deposit for confirmed students wanting to take up the offer was 50k last year. Fees to be paid on the day of joining comes to around 1.04 lakhs minus 50k.

For waitlisted candidates who want to wait for the list to move, the deposit is 5k. If your admission gets confirmed, fees on day of joining would be 1.04 lakhs minus 5k. If it doesn't, your 5k would be refunded in about one month's time from the date of start of course.

Not paying the initial deposit implies you are not interested in the offer and the list will move automatically. In case your area experiences postal delays, shoot a phone call to the admissions office in case of problems.

All selected and waitlisted candidates will receive the call letter with the complete details of the further procedures.

But i have read in previous year thread's like only single digit will convert in MBC.

Please select First Choice Centre to appear in GD/PI
Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Trichy

Please select Second Choice Centre to appear in GD/PI
Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Trichy


Why is that Hyderabad appears only in second choice and not in first choice ??
