1 - how good are the chances of changing the country after MBA ... i mean can i move to US/Asia after a MBA from UK/France?
2 - i m confused abt the cost of some of the programs..
eg - for cambridge(judge) the cost is around USD 50-60k but many sites suggest to have an annual budget of 25k only for this course, given that it is only a 12 month course i dont understand the difference. is it because of scholarships??

I had taken the GMAT for HBS 2+2 program but I could not make it to HBS. My GMAT score is 770. My post MBA goal is to join a consulting firm(strategy such as BCG or marketing such as ZS) .
I have no professional work experience. I will work for 3 years before applying to the MBA programs. I recently got placed in Infosys as a system engineer. Please tell me whether this kind of work experience will be beneficial(brand wise and profile wise) for the schools I am applying for in order to reach my goal.

Schools:
1. Wharton
2. Booth
3.Kellogg
4. Duke
5. Ross
6. Emory

If not, please suggest the industry/companies I should look at (feeder companies to these schools or profiles preferred by these schools). Is, for instance, work experience in an analytics company better?
Other details:
B.tech Computer science 78% Non-IIT.
Above average ECAs with some community service.

i am no consultant.. and i am also an aspirant just like u ..
bt still here are my 2 cents..

i also worked as a SE in infy for 1.5 yrs and i dont think this job will help u much for these target schools
1 - u will have a hard time differentiating urself from the crowd
2 - not much relevant learning experiences

better go for some analytical work

pls dont get me wrong i m nt badmouthing infy at all... i feel infy is a great company if u wish to build a career in IT industry (which is nt bad as well) and ppl do get into big schools from infy as well
so if u have a liking for IT stuff pls do join infy otherwise i recommend some analytical stuff .. i feel this is a great emerging industry and can help u to build a good profile

bt i feel consultants might be in a better position to comment.
and btw a great GMAT
