well guys...after two days of intense deliberations and discussions, I have decided that i will not be taking up the seat....it was indeed a very tough decision to make between doing an MBA and my job in Bombay.....but i guess i will be doing the latter........this brings an end to the MBA season of 2007-09 for me....a special word of thanks to naresh and all the seniors at IIT DELHI ....i stayed there for 3 days during the admission process and trust me it was a really wonderful experience....will miss all those things the seniors there told us abt ....i guess the best part of the stay was when around 30 of us were put up in the same hall...made so many friends during those 3 days...and overall a great learning experience:thumbsup:

i have communicated my decision to the authorities and i wish this seat will go to somebody more deserving than me:)

the results link has been removed from the website...so now the next update should be about the list of confirmed candidates and waitlisted candidates...

buddy the link is still there....it now says results as per those declared on 28th april 2007....

maybe we will have to wait till tomm to have a clear picture

in some previous posts somebody mentioned tht no. of selected candidates is 100+, but i am sure tht for the general candidates it is not more than 55-60. I think the number of seats for gen it sjmsom is also somewheer in ths range only.. so it is sure tht they will be coming up with the wait list. i am also not able to clear the sjmsom and got 97 w/l in IITD so my last hopes are there on the SJMSOM only otherwise MBA07-09 is over for me .
Seniors plz contact college authorities and do let us know when can we expect the w/l ......

buddy if the total calls r 100+ then the general category calls will surely be much more than 55-60....i think it shd be around 80 at least...since OBC quota hasnt been considered so only SC/ST QUOTA remains.....but inspite of that i think there will definitely be a waitlist.....but guys plzz dont keep much hopes...IIT B might also take less students than its capacity...i think 2008 batch has around 54 students....so just keep ur fingers crossed and hope tht waitlist does come out...

just goin thru last years thread i saw - 110 confirmed calls for 60 seats , over that the wl cleared till 20+ , so i guess a waitlist will come out .

was out the whole day today and when i returned home just now in the evening...i eagerly logged in to pg in the hope of checking my SJMSOM results....and:wow:

i just dont understand y iit b is taking so much time to declare the results???

and LAH told us yest evening that the results were ready and almost ready to be uploaded......so y the sudden delay again???....iit b plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz declare the results early.....seniors no news today????

hey dude as i already mentioned it was Mr. Sonar who said the same..........he is the admission co-ordinator at SOM..........................he said he expects it to be done by evening .....

can any of the seniors call the office and confirm this plz...since the exact status would be told to the seniors correctly by the office staff i feel...

the wait is killing........if not today then results will be out only on monday ...cant wait for 2 more days....:neutral:
