relax.the modus operandi of each circle is different from the others.as it happens , in my circle , the medicals and the document verification were done away with on the same day.in some circles , the document verification will be done on march 1st and these guys have been sent a provisional appointment letter provided they have cleared the medicals and conditional to be able to furnish the necessary documents on the day of joining.whatever it is , they will intimate you via snail mail or an email.so dont break sweat.

Is circle change possible if someone has a mother who is sick and other family constraints.

yup , its possible.strike the right chord with the hr guy in the circle you have been allotted to.sound very convincing , and tell him about your family problems.honestly - it doesnt work.next best deal - get in touch with the contacts who matter , who can pull some strings and can get it arranged for you.
ps: 2008-09 batch pos , 4 of them managed to get an inter circle tranfer to blore.but that was after a year in probation.dont know whether the initial efforts to change your circles galvanize into something fruitful.

lol , anyway got done with the medicals and document verification today.was told , i could expect the final appointment letter by feb 22nd.if i am amongst the unfortunate few who cannot be accommodated during the training , il be tossed into a branch to gain some hands-on experience and my branch would be mentioned in the appointment letter.

I stumbled across this thread and it read "sbi probationary officers 2010" , not that i remember having come across a note of any kind or a stentorian that said 'strictly - serious talk'.i dont see why a little bit of 'good humoured'(you may have to google it up) , light hearted banter prick someone.everybody gets to have their say and they do , be it at the expense of a few groans.queries have been resolved and are still welcome, issues have been sorted out.so the 'immatured talk' which borders the ,what we folks know it as an 'informal convo' , shouldnt create any hassles.so the self-proclaimed custodian of this thread who-feels-increasingly-concerned , if you cannot 'unwind' then stay 'screwed' for all i care or watch an episode of spongebob squarepants to lighten up.you really need to.wikipedia-i was worried , man :P
