Would be a great help if you can list out your prep materials...
This CAT,I had Arun Sharma for Quant, enrolled for TIME mocks and Had been quite active on PG Quant Forum...Didnt cared much about English usage except English Thread here at PG and reading novels/newspaper...For DI,just relied on Mocks...Had no coaching on any sort however..
Do you find any thing short for a full-fledge prep...?
For Quant, I relied on the material provided by TIME. I had done only 3-4 chapters from Arun Sharma as I found these chapters to be my weakness.Probability,Geometry and Numbers(because it carries a high weightage) were those chapters.
The VA preparation for me was quite similar to yours.Novels and newspapers did it for me.But I spent the maximum time on this section as I feel that English is the game changer in CAT.
In the short time that you have , I think that mocks will be the best preparation. Try and collect as many mocks as you can and solve them.It is just a matter of few tweaks here and there and the CAT can be cracked. In my case,I changed my approach 3-4 times before hitting the right combination.Try different ways and you will find an approach which suits you.Since I had a bit of a long-drawn preparation, these are the only suggestions that come to my mind for the short term.Maybe you could just go through those chapters in Arun Sharma in which you are experiencing problems. The mocks are for improvement so don't lose hope if it is not going your way.
Best of luck in your preparation and I will try to help you out to the best of my ability!!
