Aftr reading previous posts., i thot i must share my exprnce also..
i hd 93.6%ile in CAT.., 88+ %age in 10th n 12th.. n yeah.., m a Male Engineer(IIM'z fav. category)
aftr cmplting Engineering., i hv been in my Family Business since july'10..

on d day of encounter.., performed well in GD.., so got thru frm 1st round..
nw in PI.., i ws second last in my group.. before me.., panel ws taking around 20 mins 4 aspirant's pi.. so I ws happie dat yeah., dey r giving enough time to evaluate..

in my turn.., panel started wid sm basic ques like whr i am frm n grad degree n all dat..
process ws going smooth until i told dem dat i hv been in my family biz for last 20 months n wud like to join d same aftr my post-graduation.. n gave sm reasons 2 do so.. den dey asked me sm very basic que regarding biz process..
den dey discontinued wid d same n asked me 2 face an extempore.. afaik.., i delivered well..
aftr dat 1 of panelists asked me wedr i hd any que., so i asked dem abt clg's linkup wid VC.. n he did explain me very well..

dats it.. he said.., THANK YOU.. n i ws in a big shock.., coz i ws out of d room in 7-8 mins..!!
@ dat pt of time only., i knew it.., wedr i ll get in2 first list or i m straight out of d race..!!

coz sm hw i felt dat., it dint go well coz i said i ll cm back 2 biz again aftr study..
I may b wrong., bt in 1 corner of d mind der cms a thot dat TAPMI prob wanted students who ll mk it 100% placement.. each n evry 1 getting selected in a gud company @ d end of 2 years..

i wud like to knw d studnts having dis kinda profile n getting selected 4 TAPMI..
probably i ll able 2 knw., wht actually went wrong..??..!!!

Asked to write down our thoughts on a paper. Time given was 7 minutes.
As soon as the time was up, they asked us to start discussing. We were allowed to refer to our sheets during the GD however we weren't allowed to add or delete anything from it.

No need to worry. Like I posted before, just walk in to the GD-PI venue (which you can get to know from others at your centre here) on the said date and time. You'll have no troubles in attending the GD/PI.

wud b leaving 4 delhi by 2mrw.., n ll directly go 2 Mumbai 4 gd-pi wid out visiting my hometown..

so i may nt able 2 get it wid me in case it gets deliverd by 15th..
