I need a small help regarding filling FRM Form.Right now, i am second year student of MBA and in the form at one point, it ask for following things:-

1) Employer/Affiliation
(Please enter full company name.)
2) Job information
3) Job Title

But I do have prior work experience before joining B-School, so what i need to mention in the form.Please let me know ASAP.

Is there some optio to download the GD/PI form from the IIFT website?Since i too am apprehensive whether the GD/PI form will reach me at Bangalore within the stipulated time.

Just go few pages back.. you will get previous year IIFT CV.... as it IIFT doesnt upload any form on their site... everyyear there are only few changes in form so u can refer to previous year form.. dont worry form will reach any time before stipulated time......

According to mbauniverse.com The cutoff this year is 33.75 (but I know many with 35 who have not got a call) and the Total no. of seats is 281..seniors please confirm

See it is very tough for us to comment on this year cut off becoz as it IIFT never reveals it...so it is only speculated by PG or MBAUniverse... last it happen that one of student scored 45+ but still didnt got the call as his number in quant were quite low.. so it MAY depend upon Sectional cut off as well which we are not aware of..

thanks a tonne for all this info! so like just the cursory knowledge of all this necessary (number of members, HQ, recent meetings, heads/SG etc..) or do i need to study in depth about these?

i am planning to study abt WTO, IMF, SAARC, ASEAN, OECD, OPEC, APEC, World bank but just the basic stuff (like i have mentioned above!) and the figures abut Indian exports and imports (main items, main trading partners).. basics about sub-prime mortgage crisis and european crisis!

would this do? and ofcrs the important M&A;, CRR, SLR, fiscal deficits (just the very basic definitions!)

what else do i need to study?

it'd help i guess! i have zero knowledge about economics and i have being going crazy abt this fact but i think i should concentrate on grad sub (being a fresher) and be well-versed with current topics and some basic economic terms and figures!

Just read newspaper everyday..that would be sufficient to get use to economics terms...but no harm in knowing about WTO, IMF, SAARC and current happening becoz most of the topics would be from current topics..moreover it is important that if they asked you about Sectors let say Ilike IT or automobile....be prepared with all Facts about it like exports, imports, ranking of India in export, import..ranking according to GDP..extra extra...this are important dont miss out...As a fresher, pick up the subject with which u are confortable and properly study that...that is more than enough..

Just wait for few more days, you will get it soon...anyways just start preparing for the questions from previous IIFT cv ..it would be similiar almost...

Cut off remains same for both the institute IIFT-D and K..anyways all the best for rest of exams..
