i got the final selection mail of rohtak in which it is written tht
" There will not be any post copy of this letter, this is final."
i have to apply for the loan nd there i need a copy of offer letter of rohtak nd the problem is tht ..
admin office wont be sending post copy nd the mail sent by the office is of gmail domain .. "iimrohtak9@gmail.com" so any1 can doubt the authenticity of the mail :splat:...
i tried to call the office but no1 is thr to receive my call .. need help ..

but on 26 may at 1.30 pm i came to knw tht i have been offered a seat in IIM rohtak .. so wud be joining rohtak ... had a gr8 experience during the Ka interview .. thnx to

first direct converted .. not waitlisted .. but wont join .. few days back (26th may ) cleared IIM rohtak .. i thank IIM Ka for giving me a chance to appear in the interview process .. nd also showing faith in me for their PGP course ...
with convert conversion ratio becomes 50% //2 converts out of 4 calls ..

Slight correction, it will be 90+47 only if all the people in the 1st waitlist have cleared in the 1st waitlist (considering there were 90 in the first waitlist). Suppose, the 1st waitlist had waitlist numbers upto 110 and 90 of them cleared, then the remaining 20 would also be included in your waitlist number of 47.

as per ur assumption if 90 cleared out of 110 thn wat is the use of releasing new wait list .. already they got wat they wanted ...

Had my PI on the 26th at Bangalore. Met dudedc there.

Interview:

They asked basic stuff about my job profile, and there was some discussion on stocks, inflation, beta, general stuff etc. I may have screwed up a bit, but was OK.

Suddenly they veered on to stuff like "Who called Mahatma Gandhi Mahatma first", "Where is Sarnath", "What was Lord Buddha's name" etc. Answered the last, but had no idea about the other two. Some more questions on religion, history etc, where I was stumped.

They also asked me to draw the graph of y=log(1+x^2) or something, where I got really confused, not having touched math since years.

IMO, it went very bad. Expecting the worst.

Also, in Bangalore, they didn't ask us to submit any copies of the certificates, but it seems like they did in Noida.

Who called Mahatma Gandhi Mahatma first .. rabindranath tagore ..
Where is Sarnath .. possibly bihar ... coz of sarnath express ...

in noida they asked for certis only to those who havent submitted it at the time of form submission .. or missing documents ... like cat scorecard,10th,12th mark-sheets .. etc ...
panel 1n2 at noida asked some quests on probability ..if im not wrong .. sum1 said tht .. atleast 2 guys confirmed tht day .. mathematical quests were asked ..

had interview on 26th at 9.30 am at IIM L noida campus ...
story begins ...
reached the campus on time :lookround:(9.26 am) by the help of my GPS device (nokia N79)..
met a guy(varun ) whom i met at IIM L interview at kolkata .. had a chit chat wid him ... nd wid others too (gudakesh , and an IIT K pass out guy .. forgot his name nd one more guy of kolkata )..
one prof came nd announced the names nd the panel number.. panel 1 nd 2 were merged nd mine was panel 3 ..
after a wait of 1 hour ..
finally i was called in .. the
panel was consisted of two members ..one madam(M) nd a sir(S) ..
M: tell me about urself ?
before i cud start she asked me to handover my file ..
nd after seeing my mark-sheets she said "u r frm raipur tell me about raipur"
.. I said but in an unorganized manner (people,date of creation etc ).. said what i knew .. at the end .. i smartly added about the swami Vivekananda's stay at raipur nd few points related to tht .. i guess tht had a positive impact :cheers:..
M:asked about the raipur call ..
I: had a call but cudnt convert it ..
S: tell me about short term nd long term career plans ...
I:spoke about it ..
i guess he liked the idea he said idea is good(WHAT AN IDEA SIR JI .. hehe )(even M was in an agreement wid him ) nd i shud start it ASAP nd not to waste my time in doing a job or an MBA .. thn
S asked me to join a clg in gwalior (i was in :nono::lookround::nono: mode ) nd said its better for me as per my plans ..
but i insisted to join IIM ka .. thn he said achcha yaar aa jao kashipur ::w00t:.. i was shocked nd thought tht i committed a mistake:splat: :banghead::-(:shock:..
thn M asked me to leave ...
interview was of 6-8 mins ..
after tht i was feeling bad (coz my language in the interview wasnt fluent,got distracted when the power went off in the room n not a single question related to gk ,current affairs etc was asked)..
i left the campus .. boarded the metro at anand vihar station ..
i wasnt happy .. lots of unwanted things were in my mind :shocked:..
thn i opened my email acc .. saw 2 new mails ..i was shocked :shocked::w00t::w00t::p(a magic happened)...
u never get 2 IIM mails in a day ... offering u a seat(got IIM Rohtak nd Raipur final call ) ..
said damn ..n i got up .. nd called my frens ..
now i wud be joining rohtak ... :drinking::drinking: .. rohtak jaunga ... agar car se nahi to scooter se .. agar scooter kharab ho gaya to .. scooter mein guns laga lunga silencer ki jagah .. newton's 3rd law laga laga k jaunga .. lekin jaunga jaroor ...

im a bit late .. but doesnt matter ... went to delhi to attend kashipur interview ... nd thn in the metro opened my email acc nd suddenly a magic happened two IIM mails .. got the final call frm IIM rohtak n raipur .. ek do din pehle aa jata to dilli na jata ...
main nikla gadi leke .. gadi na chale to scooter se bhi jaunga .. lekin jaunga jaroor ,,
