I am working as a Technology Consultant,in an IT MNC. I will have 5 years of work experience(IT) by June' 11. I have scheduled to write GMAT by June.
Can I apply to SP JAIN(PGPM), also do I stand a chance to be short listed.

X - 76%
XII - 94.4%
B.Tech (Chem) - 87%

Work-Ex: 5 Years (6 months international)
Worked as Software engg, at Infy for 2.9 years,
Worked in a Temenos (Banking product company) for 8 months,
Currently working with HP for about 1.5 years

Won awards in HP for leading a project.

Extra-currics :
-Won 1st prize in couple of National level symposiums during my Engineering.
-Placement Co-ordinator and organizer of international symposium during engineering
-organizer for company events at Temenos

We do not have any information on when the second list will be out.

However, considering the volume of applications to be screened through and the fact that 22nd and 23rd are saturday and suinday, the Stage II shortlist is not likely to be released before next week.

As it gets close to the destination, we can feels the heat, ain't it???
This mock CAT was bit on lines of CAT2007 but a moderate one. All three sections were equally easier.

My Score:
VA - 50 (20A, 14C, 6W)
DI - 43 (14A, 11C, 3W)
QA - 19 (11A, 6c, 5W) (poor accuracy, thought of attempting few questions with good accuracy :sad:)

Over All - 112 :

Great Lakes admission process takes many things into account before giving an admit to a candidate. Among things which help us to gauge the candidate, essays are one of the most important. It helps us know how focused you are and how fit you are for the school. So, write your essays with utmost sincerity.

The essays will generally ask about yourself and your past.You will come to know about the topics of the essays once the admission form is out which should be in mid October.

The current batch has median CAT score of 95.9. We are expecting that this median score would rise for the next batch.However, score is just one parameter on which your application is judged. Also next batch will see increase in terms of intake from 162 (cuurent batch) to 260. So you have good chances.

Also you dont have to specify any specialisation in your application specifically.

The cut off given by TIME is on the lower end, probably the cut of must be around 100, I suppose.
