There is a strict instruction from college for all who are not having passports in hand or are in process of applying for passport should have passports on hand by October 1 week 2012. In case of any further delay the student will not be able to be part of International study tour.

SDMIMD only accepts CAT, XAT and GMAT. If you have written XAT you can send us the XAT score after the results come. Both XAT and CAT are given equal weights.

There is no reservation of Seats in SDMIMD. The admission is completely based on academic and professional merit of the aspirant.

There is no split up of seats for CAT and XAT. Both the exams are given equal weight. If one student has written both the exam, best of two will be selected. Admission of a student depends on his interview performance, CAT/XAT score and profile.

If you are doing E-remittance, kindly tick E-remittance in the point no.9; mention your transaction ID for the E-remittance. And when you send the application, keep a copy of invoice copy of e-remittance along with the application form.

Your Academics looks to be pretty good.To comment on XAT cut off, any thing above 80 percentile will be a good score. Profile of the candidate will also be considered for admissions along with XAT score.

Hi seniors,

It is mentioned in the website that 'Appear for XAT-2012 on January 8, 2012 and update your online registration of XAT 2012 at www.xlri.edu to indicate your preference for SDMIMD'.
I just want to know where to update in that site as i could not find suitable place to give my indication preference.


Also, can I mention both cat and xat as i m appearing for both. will the best score of the 2 be picked?

Regarding the matters related to XAT website, you will have to contact XAT call center and clear your doubts.
And coming to your next question, both XAT and CAT can be mentioned while applying to SDMIMD. And best of the two scores will be selected for admission process. Application forms can be purchased from TIME, IMS coaching centers or can be downloaded from the SDMIMD webpage SDMIMD | Honouring a Commitment.

Aspirant from CBE.
I have 84% IN X,
82 IN XII,
6.4 cgpa in grad btech IT (Amrita).
i have 19 months of Work exp in Cognizant.
expecting a 80+ in cat. also applying through Gmat. Am gonna give my gmat by jan 17th and already confirmed with admissions that i could apply via gmat since it comes after the closing date . Being said that i would like to know if there is any cut off for Gmat ?
Do i stand any chance of getting through provided i have a gmat score >600 or say 650+

Looking at your current profile and experience its pretty decent for a call. Your expected CAT percentile of 80+ will be a decent one. As far as GMAT is considered SDMIMD accepts the GMAT score and score above 550 will be considered as a good one.I believe i was able clear your doubt.
