This post is addressed to Allwin, all the mods including estranged_gnrs and all the puys, especially those who know about this issue.

Nis_rhj was banned from SB for one month because of no apparent reason (in my view and quite a few other puys' views who are aware of all the happenings and with whom I'd interacted on this topic for the fear that I might be wrong). The situation was like this: Two puys are having innocent leg-pulling, estranged_gnrs comes out from nowhere and gives her an advice which was highly unwelcome. And Nisha replies to it the way most of us would have replied to such a comment. And, she's banned, from PG (and not from SB only unlike what's expected), for one month (and not for ... rehne hi deta hoon... that's not what I want to focus on).

Those who know about the issue agree with me (and probably gnrs himself knows) that there wasn't any solid reason whatsoever to ban Nisha. I tried to ask the reasons behind this to gnrs but he obviously couldn't justify his actions. He told me that, 'She used to post in SMS lingo', 'I've got complaints from other users regarding her'. (And, I just checked that her posts, after gnrs' warning, are in normal English). Anyway, both he and I know that these are lame reasons at least when something as serious as banning is concerned.

During my discussion with estranged_gnrs, in reply to my question doubting his neutrality, he made a comment, which was cheap and would definitely have invited a ban, had it been from any other user. This comment made Nisha cry, and write a PM to mods which, unfortunately invited a permanent ban for her. Yes, she'd come on SB via her friend's id during the discussion. Well, the way gnrs was answering, she probably had to.


Well, it was another piece of immaturity on estranged_gnrs behalf, as it appears. So, it would be nice if estranged_gnrs can justify his actions to all the puys (estranged_gnrs, please don't tell me that such issues should be solved by sending PMs to you).

PG has always been an integral part of me. But, I can't be a place where I'm seeing unjustice being done to someone because of a mod's immaturity or bias or whatever. I would prefer leaving PG than being a mute spectator to all this.

PS: I hardly have any complaints to other mods. And, I love PG.

First of all thanks to the people who turned up for the mini meet on Sunday.
I got to meet Siddharth, Swagat, Haresh and Praveen :)
We met at City center from where we headed to Barrista below Angeethi.
The discussion varied from Mumbai to Bangalore to Oracle to Idea to CAP Foundation to the IPL to Calvin and hobbes :w00t:

What are top colleges to consider for GCET, is PGDM of GCET is better than MBA program?

BK (Ahmedabad), university departments of MBA of MS Univesity and SP university and SLIMS are some of the good colleges under GCET.

Well, I guess you can only join MBA through GCET, and not PGDM. Please correct me if I'm wrong :D

Anyway, the college matters and not the course title (MBA or PGDM or whatever).
