I am getting a Rank of 1419 in NMAT 2009..
I don't think there are any chances for a convert in the merit quota..But is there any chance to get any admission in the management quota?? Can you pls tell what is the procedure to apply thru management quota??

There are chances of getting thru management quota if u are able to get final rank around 600. Focus on GD/PI now....you will be offered management seat once final ranks are out...so dont worry now. Best of Luck.

Can u tell me wats d procedur 4 applying thru mngt seats...
Is it after the exam or after d results? i mean whn we know our rankings!!!
Another thing is if apply thru mngt seat but i get a gud enuf rank for general seat(merit waali) so will dey still consider me as mngt seat student?

Let me answer your questions one by one

1) After you appear for NMAT, results will be out around after a month o so.
2) Then you have to apply online for GD/PI...and select a slot as per your choice...Attending GD/PI is compulsory even if ur rank is 1 in NMAT exam.
3) After GD/PI ur total marks(written exam+GD+PI) will be added (if you have work ex those marks will be added too) and you get a final NMAT rank.
4) Now at the time of result of final rank...all the ranks above 300 are given the offer to apply for management seat. If you are interested you could apply and keep.
5) Now say you have accepted the management seat...but due to cancellations...say now merit rank has reached ur number...then ur management seat will be converted to merit...and next person in list of management quota will be called.

I stumbled upon on this thread a bit late Neways guys...has anybody really started doing those projects..ISM, CSR, Economics...phew...People in my div are pretty chilled out...wonder how we are going to manage so many projects in less than a month..as our term is going to end on 15 september...

P.S: Our final exam timetable made me go
