They have nt disclosed the waiting number....
Also what are the chances of converting the call if you are in the waitlist...???
it is not that all the people in the waitlist are gonna clear it and get the seat..

Dates for announcing final results: 30 March 2009

Release of Admission List (main list and waiting list should be announced on the same day): 30 March 2009

Date for acceptance by the candidate (time given should in no case be less than 15 days): 15 April 2009

Last date for closing of admission: 15 june 2009Starting of the Academic session: 3 rd Week of June 2009

The waiting list should be activated only on the expiry of date of main list.

actually i have got pgdm in icfai hyderabad..but i have to chose between fore ib and icfai hydb...please tell me which is better..thanks

Both the colleges are good ones...
Look if u will scroll past sone posts of this thread you will find out it just depends on wht kind of college u aspire to b in...
Icfai hyderabad has better infrastructure as well as it is the best college among all icfai colleges...
As far as fore is concerned, it is located in Delhi and has a good brandname..which goes for icfai hyderabad also...
But another matter u have 2 look at is the course...
PGDM AND PGDM(IB) ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT STREAMS...
Pgdm has much wider scope and oppurtunities..
so just make ur own move takin into consideration all the pros and cons....
One of my friend has converted her call in icfai hyderabad and she is gonna join it....

Thats good if it was un-intentional.. Many of us, did take it in a different way (me being one of them..)..
More because the factual stats and Data you provided, was all about Placement/Package oriented..
Most of the work-ex people joining SCIT are already have decent salaris buddy.. ranging from 3 lpa to 6 lpa.. may be even more..
Imagine someone with such decent packages, leaving his/her job an joining SCIT.. that too in recession times..
And thats the precise reason many got offended.. cause many are really not bothered about placements and packages. Some might even be having the course sponsered by their Companies so that 2 years later they will join their organisation and move into a managerial role.

And some of us probably felt you are try to influence our thinking, especially the way you put your points..
Some of your statements did make many feel that you are kind of trying to impose your notions on them...

3 rd batch of ib would start this year..
so
first batch is passing out as per my knowledge..
may b u r rite...

I knw the fees is 6 lacs + 2 lacs for accomodation etc bt IFMR is in chennai n fore in delhi.. so does fore hav a location advantage..even the fee for ifmr is 6 lacs n moreover IFMR is only gud for finance n if i cant be sure that i want to do specialisation in finance then should i opt for it.. i have been staying in delhi for the past 3 years so i m a lil skeptic abt chennai.. plz help..

all i can say is that just for the sake of chennai and delhi u cannot compromise on the mba...
ultimately u hav to understand that if it would have been PGDM(general) at fore thn u had to just go 4 fore bt PGDM(IB).....
All i can say is that fore is a gud college bt PGDM general degree is much more worth it than IB...
So just dnt b skeptical abt Chennai...
