@Seniors : I have not been able to get in touch with my mentor, I sent a mail to her twice, so request you to answer my query on PG.

I need to go through the online form, that was filled up initially. I haven't saved a copy of it, as I wasn't aware of this. Is there some way out. I mean even if I can read it a minute before the interview that would be good for me.

I think there would be a file which the seniors would maintain as our catalogue, which will have the form and other certificates, and this file goes to the panel just before we enter.

Panel Members Intro: 2 people, both males. One in late 40's(P1) and other in late 30's(P2)

I was the one first one to be interviewed in my group. And even in the GD, I was made to sit in a corner

P2 walks out, as I enter (Grrr)

P1 : Which place do u belong to?
A : dash dash

P2 : Why is ur engg score so less ?
A : funde

P2: What are your hobbies?
A: I said travelling and said that I had travelled to Nathu La, Sikkim. And then he asked me the name of a lake close to that place. I had a vague idea. But wasn't very sure. Answered but the name was wrong.

P2: When did Sikkim join India ?
A: Again didn't remember the exact year. But gave a time period.Which was correct, but that doesn't count, I guess

By this time, P1 enters and starts going through my file

P1: I had a business plan presentation, certificate in my file. So he asked me, about the financial things to be taken care of while starting a business
A: I used some terms like ROI, Break-even point and capital investment. So the next few questions were on this.

P1: How much should be the ROI of an ideal business?
A: I made a really wild guess and ended up quoting a large percentage figure, which made him disagree.

P1: How much is the ROI for an average investor in Indian stock markets?
A: I quoted the returns of a mutual fund. Which he said were again large, but somewhat possible.

P1: What is capital intensive business?
A: Funde

At this he indicated to P2 to grill me on acads

P2: What's the distinguishing feature of a communication satellite?
A: Funde but he wasn't convinced

P2: Which company has the largest sea cable network?
A: AT&T;, which he agreed with thankfully

P2: How much would be the length of cables? Make a guess
A: Guessed something and he moved on

P2: Which company has most number of mobile towers?
A: No idea sirji

P2: AT&T;'s revenue
A: Guessed something.

Ok then I guess that is it. An abrupt end.:shock:. Thank you, you can go now.

No about me, no work-ex questions, no why mba? Am really not sure, what to say abt this, and open for your opinion

Am unable to list the view the list of documents to be carried along. The PDF of call list, doesn't show any info abt it. But I see people talking abt the character certificate and other proofs. Can somebody please guide me to the list which I guess am unaware of.

Hello Seniors

I submitted my form online today, and in the print-out, the check list mentions documents that need to be posted along with the form, however the checklist doesn't have Work-ex proof, as a requirement.

Can u confirm that we don't need to send that now, because I remember the instructions on the first page of online form submission stating the need for it.

My problem is, that obtaining such a proof in my company is a lengthy procedure, and am afraid that even though I have submitted a request, they wont be providing me the official letter in time.

All seniors, a very important logistical doubt.... I have applied for SIBM-P and am in bangalore currently working...

the question is that does SIBM-P conduct interview only in pune or is there going to be a centre in bangalore too...I need this info to plan my days and travel in advance considering the rates of air tickets rise inversely with time..

Please help...do reply!
