I was admitted from the waitlist recently and I am planning to attend. Anyone from Mumbai going to Cornell MBA this fall, please PM me!

I know this is the stupidest question, but is there any minutest chance for folks like me who havent even received an interview call, to get a positive surprise on 15th?

I did ask the adcom - In case one is not invited for interview, does he or she concur that they have been denied admission? I know I should await the official mail but knowing this would help me proceed with other Business school applications as soon as possible.
To which the answer was -
We would suggest you to conclude anything only after you are rejected officially.


Just gathering any broken hopes if remaining...

My way of consoling myself is a solemn swear to crack the likes of Kellogg and show it to ISB !!

Finally I got the Interview call
Received the mail at 8:50 PM
No SMS till now..
So everyone waiting for the SMS check your mail box :D
Interview Scheduled on 6th Feb @ Hyderabad..

Newbie here. I am just shell shocked about why didnt I deserve atleast an interview call from ISB. But ofcourse there are others like me. I should have listened to my MD and applied to top US b-schools...

BE in Electronics Engg (Distinction)
Passed all 3 levels of CFA and full FRM exam in successive first attempts
Certified FRM, awaiting CFA charter.
WE: 2 yrs 9 months in Top US Bank
20 months in Risk Management analytics for cards portfolio - Top performer, numerous awards, excellent reco from Senior Risk Manager
12 months in Equity Research: Asia and Emerging Markets Equity Strategy covering 16 countries - Top performer again, International experience at Malaysia and HK, strong reco from VP.
