hey guys,

i made a terrible mistake...

i got the GD call letter on 9th march, for the GD to be conducted on 3rd april... but instead of replying to the mail within 1 week as mentioned in the mail, i forgot and replied it just right now!!!

will this create any problem???
please guys please help me... do i need to call and talk to someone at TAPMI???

GD/PI :: 21st 9 am

Reached the Lavale Campus at around 8:45am .. We were immediately registered and given respective badges with kit. There was a welcome and general presentation about SIMC by the director Mr Chandan Chatterjee (CC as he is popularly known) and a students of SIMC. There was also a breakfast session to feed our hungry hearts
The process starts with a computer based psychometric test .. Guys who have given MICAT before will be totally aware about it. Pretty simple as you have to give your opinion on a certain question. Just make sure you understand the question and give an honest answer !! Also we were given to write a SOP.
The second process was the Group Activity. Basically we were divided among a group of 10 people and were asked to perform a task. Basically it was a puzzle based game where you had to arrange some blocks/tiles given and form the shape which is given in a paper .. Ours was not such a nice experience..Everybody was saying something and there was very little coordination. Overall ok.. Guys ahead pls coordinate and cooperate and keep the communication flow smooth else you will have problems .. Dont make it a fish market and be egoistic (which happened in our case).
Next was doc verification and then PI. In my case there were two people and one among them was the Director himself:wow: .. PI was smooth . They asked very general questions on yr SOP and form ..

Overall good experience!! Have fun and enjoy as much as u can ...

The first step is the document verification thing..
Not having the original SNAP Admit card and score card is not an issue.
The there is an Audio visual round..
We were shown some advertisement and then a topic was given. We got 3 minutes to jot down any thoughts about that topic.
The first GD was on that topic only..
the we got a 3 minute break before the second GD..
Since the group size is small (8 people) and the GD is of 7-8 mins, it was a good GD.
Then Lunch and the final PI..
Since i have 3+years of experience, m PI was mostly about work ex and then why MBA etc.
I am not sure about how the PI of s fresher goes.
They ask your opinion regarding current issues pertaining to your state or current national issues..
Overall it was more of an interaction that a PI.
Then extempore can be about videogames, organic crops, dedicated cycle tracks etc.
But my panel helped me along with their inputs and opinions regarding the extempore topic..
Be relaxed and speak clearly...

for guys wear shirt and trousers with a tie and suits are also welcome n for girls wear salwar suit plz dont wear sleeveless as it is not allowed in the campus when u get selected for the course..
